I was looking for a lap desk for both my laptop and my tablet, to use on the sofa, and I did quite a bit of research, and was happy to find this one. One of the problems with lots of the other ones is that the wrist pad is too hard and too high, but this one is perfect for me. Also, the foam pads at the bottom are adjustable, and they grip without being scratchy. See the photos for the various positions. You can also stand a phone or a tablet in the top slot, though it would’ve been a little bit of an improvement if the slot was tilted inside, so whatever you have in there leans back a little. But it holds my tablet, which has a case, just fine.It is sturdy and lightweight. And looks attractive. I can easily stash it under my sofa, and it has a handle in the front, so getting it out, and sliding it back under from a seated position works fine.Makes my life much easier.The tablet I show me the photos is 11 inches. So you have room for a mouse pad, if you roll like that.

I bought this to replace another lap desk That was like a beanbag underneath. If that makes sense.Anyway, this one seems like it will last a long time. The stuffed material underneath is nice and sturdy. The wrist rest is firm and at a nice height. The top is made with a non-slip material.I purchased the gray and it’s a nice gray.I have the MacBook Pro 16 inch and It fits on the desk perfectly.Highly recommend

First lap desk I've ever purchased, and I am happy to report that this product fits my needs very well. There are two (actually three) tilt angles available, and I use the lap desk for my chromebook, as well as for reading a traditional (paper) book. Quality seems to be good so far, no complaints at all.

This lap desk is super light and has a convenient handle, so when working at home I can move from room to room. I use this mainly for writing, and so the pen holder really helps me keep track of my pens. And the phone holder in back is super helpful. But I also use this with my large laptop & it's the perfect size and has very comfy wrist guards. At night I've also been using this for reading in bed & it's nice that I can adjust the height & it keeps my book level so it doesn't keep closing on me!

The desk seems well made overall. My favorite feature is how high it sits. Gets my screen closer to my line of vision for less neck strain. The only drawback so far is the wrist rest is already collapsing after only 1 month of use. Could use some sturdier foam.
