Broilmaster DPA116 Flare Buster Ceramics for P3 Series Grills

Installed these to our 23 year old Broilmaster grill about one year ago . It needed new briquets anyway and found these after some research. Our grill always has had hot spots when grilling as most do. These ceramic plates disperse the heat more evenly. Love this for doing wings as grill surface temp is much more evened out and reduces the flare ups. Def. worth the money and would buy again for sure!!

I have used ceramic briquettes for a couple years and usually replace them every 1-2 years. I believe these were the "premium" option for Broilmaster grills and I can tell why. They heat faster and self-clean better than briquettes. Time will tell if they hold up better and don't disintegrate like the briquettes.

I replaced our old coal style with these. I love how they fit the whole bottom of the grill and they really do all but eliminate flare-ups and make the heat more even than I could get with the older coals.The shipping though... sheesh! These are ceramic and came stacked together with a flimsy single layer of bubble wrap around the outside. Folks! these are brittle ceramic tiles that will crack with the least provocation and shippers are not known to be kind. Improve the packaging so a full 1/4 to 1/3 of the tiles don't arrive broken and you have a real winner here.

They work great against flare-ups highly recommend last about 5 years I cook outside frequently

I completely cleaned and rebuilt my 15 yr. old Broilmaster P3 gas grill,replacing the charcoal bricks with the Flare Buster Ceramics. Good decision for an outstanding product. No more flame burned food, and very easy clean up. Everyone agrees, the food (especially the steaks) is more appetizing and tasteful. There is a definite improvement in heat control, resulting in less required cooking heat. I was concerned about breakage during shipment, but the tiles arrived fully intact. Great buy and vendor. Will reorder for other family grills.

This is my second set of these. I have a P3 Broilmaster that is 17 years old (got it on my first father's day). The grill originally came with lava rock I believe. I have tried several products including brickettes. These has been by far the best. The heat is even and actually seems hotter. They lasted several years of moderate use before I had to replace them. A good value

First time I turned on the grill I heard a "pop" and one the tile exploded. Very fragile.

They fit where the ones that were in the grill were perfectly
