Natural Cotton Soap Bag

I've used this item for about a month. I decided to give it a try after many years of just stacking old slivers of soap onto new bars. I was initially disappointed because it didn't allow much soap to reach my skin, resulting in some rough scrubbing for a few weeks. After a month, the bar of soap inside the bag softened sufficiently to saturate the bag with soap, and now an appropriate amount of soap is available as soon as I wet the bag in the shower. I find that the scrubbing action delivered by the bag is on par with a washcloth.Now that the bag is fully saturated with soap, I believe additional soap bars will be consumed at a normal rate. As for the many reviews that down-rate the item because the drawstring doesn't stay closed, I use a knot to good effect. My only lingering concern about the item is the possibility of some fungi taking root, but that should be readily apparent if it occurs, and a quick bleach soak should clear it up.

I’m not sure what I was thinking. I bought this in an effort to live more sustainably, thinking I could use every bit of bar soap. I can toss a bunch of minis into just one bag. For this purpose, it works. The drawstring is just a cord and the bag continually comes open. I’ve had one bar drop out and now I grip it harder which is awkward. The soap stays quite wet in the bag, so I won’t be saving any soap and may even go through it more quickly. Also, this thing is going to build up dead skin cells all over it and it’s not as easy to wash as a washcloth. Plus it dries very crunchy and stiff. Just a strange concept.

This is a great item to add to your daily hygene routine. My husband and I have both seen a significant decrease in dry skin and increase in overall skin feel and look. Our tattoos have brightend up and we have both noticed less skin irriations such as acne. There is no plastic anywhere on the product or included I shipping. I bought my first one and then quickly bought another. Love this product and the seller/company is very pleasent to work with.

Read the reviews on several of these soap bags and chose this one because people said it was soft... and that it is! While I personally wouldn't use it on my face (mostly because I don't use bar soap on my face) it feels "natural" (unlike those plastic-based mesh bath poufs) and is indeed perfect for the body! Will be ordering another one for our other bathroom. While you do have to be mindful of the drawstring (it can come undone as you use it and the soap can fall out), tying a loose knot in the string should solve the problem. I drew the drawstring closed and tried to just hold it in place as I used it but I lost track of the string and it did loosen. Will definitely tie a knot next time. :) But thank you! SO happy to finally be able to use up all those little leftover soap bars!

Got it for my Dad who's fighting the symptoms of MS. He LOVES it - says it might sound stupid, but this was one of the most thoughtful gifts we've ever given him. Symptoms of MS make holding onto soap (and fetching it off the tub floor) an excruciatingly frustrating experience. This made him seriously happy, as he can now ENJOY a shower, instead of dread it.

While this is smaller than I expected it actually holds a full size bar or soap and I think any extra would not work so well. It does help create a lather and exfoliates which I also like. The one downside is that it just takes ages to dry so I’m a little worried about the longevity of it.

I was hoping truly for a product made in the USA. I searched as far and long and wide as I could on Amazon. And I could not find a product made in the USA to fit this description and intention. This is made in India. So far it’s held up nicely, it does the job, but I really wish it was made in America.

There were a lot of bad reviews so I was on the fence. But for real, I have bought so many different soap bags. This one last me for a whole year and it still works. I knew I had to buy more. If you put small little soap slices, of course it’s going to come out if you don’t tie the knot at the top. That’s elementary.....I use it every day in my shower and add the little left overs to my bigger soap and never had an issue with anything slide out. It’s so so so worth it. Super great.

At first it seemed like a really great product to use up soap ends but it's too rough on my skin on either side and it doesn't actually use any of the soap inside as there were no suds at all. The bag itself went a bit mouldy despite me drying it out after my first use, so I had to wash it nearly every time I used it which meant emptying the soap out, washing, waiting to dry then re-putting the soap back in before next shower. Felt like a complete waste of time.

This little guy is a life saver. I am huge fan of Lush Cosmetics and both their soaps and their shower jellies are hard to use in the back especially when you get down to the used up ends of bars. I just pop them in here and lathers up perfectly and works as a scrubby. One side is a wide net while the other is a tight knit pattern.

I am on a drive not to use plastics. This works a treat, the soap frothes quickly and the handle allows you to hang it in the shower to dry the soap. It's also working out cheaper than shower gel etc.

Love this, no more plastic scrunches for the shower. Bought it in August 2019 and its still going good. Makes you feel clean after you've used it.

This works well in the shower and uses every little bit of soap. You just drop more into it as needed. A nice eco friendly thingy; just a shame that we have to import it.
