Decaf Italian 'Firenze' Espresso: Tastes Like Full-Caf | 100 Aluminum Capsules for Nespresso — Rich Flavor

Excellent flavor

As with most non-Nespresso capsules, I expected the quality of this coffee to be as lackluster as most, but when I brewed one of these I was almost shocked, The liquid in my cup was much less a coffee beverage and more akin to a chemical paint stripper. The pale weak fluid only hinted at actual coffee by the smell of the capsule before it was brewed, and no amount of sugar or milk changed it in any way. I wanted to like this stuff as it is hard to find any decaf Nespresso clones, let alone at half the price of the real thing, but several cups later I'm afraid that my initial review stands. and then I discover that it's non-returnable, doh! Don't waste your money, buy the real deal. If you love your coffee as much as I do you'll find that it's money well spent.

I found the Torino to have an odd flavor, but the Arrizo and Firenze are quite tasty, especially for decaf coffee. Will buy again.

It’s late afternoon, you just want a good espresso or americano- decaf. Here is one that is good tasting. Real aluminum caps for the original line Nespresso. Which I love and prefer over the newer line. Anyway, this is a good tasting blend. Delivered promptly. It was better then expected. If you’ve tasted the plastic capsules, you know they are not the same. They can leak. Not really a huge deal. But the taste was to me. But with the real aluminum capsule you’ll get the snap, the crème, the smell and taste expected from your Nespresso machine. In the afternoon, we add a long push to make our americano. Did you know you cannot do that on the newer N machines? Yea. The versatility of the original line is a winner. Enjoy.

I think the quality of the coffee itself is great! However, about every other capsule had issues with my Nespresso machine. Mainly it would only put out about 1/2 as much as it should and then give up. A couple of times, the pressure was so high after the machine gave up, I had to turn the machine off and wait for a while for the pressure to bleed off before I could get the capsule out. So, four or five for the taste, and one or two for the annoyance.

I was hoping to be able to find a good and more economical replacement for Nespresso pods but these are awful. Flow rate through the pods is unreliable and flavor is awful.
