To get the gold finish, these were apparently opened partially and then sprayed. When opened fully so the very ends of the blades (near the screw attachment) are visible, you can see metal that wasn't sprayed, and is still silver. But in general use this wouldn't show. For the price I wasn't expecting anything other than a finish spray, so I won't deduct a star. I ordered these to coordinate with a desk set, but besides being pretty, they're comfortable to use and better quality than expected. My new favorite scissors!

I wanted a pair of scissors for my desk, and I wanted them to have a little pizzazz. I ordered these and they’re perfect. Cut well, gold color, add a little something something to my desk organizer. The only problem is, my daughter liked my pair and kept borrowing them. I gave in and order another pair for myself.

This is the second pair I've purchased. They are a very nice scissor - sharp, comfortable size and good quality. I purchased the first one as a gift and they were so nice I purchased a second one for myself.

My oldest got these for his costume and they are still being used at home. Great quality.

Saw some of the other reviews complaining that the scissors were rusted. I don't know that the ones I received are rusted but they seem...tarnished? They're a little more bronze-colored than gold, so false advertising, but they are still good quality. They feel heavy and solid and cut pretty well, and look nice in my pencil holder. If you really want the bright color in the pictures, maybe try looking elsewhere.

Cute, have had a few months. Works well. I haven't had them in most areas so cant speak on rust but they go well with the color theme of my office. A good heavy feel

Love these, they are my new favorite scissors! They have some weight to them, definitely aren't flimsy or lightweight - good quality for the price!

I bought these scissors for a Halloween costume, but am very happy with how sharp and sturdy they are. I've continued to use them regularly. The only negative is that it would be great if one side allowed for two fingers to fit for comfort.
