It DOES work as a MicroLogix Communication Cable but with one Asterisks*
This cable works as a communication cable for DF1-1 serial communication with Allen Bradley MicroLogix PLC's, however, pin 4 on the second row is supposed to be offset from the center. In the photo, an Allen Bradley Cable is shown on the left and this cable is shown on the right. The middle pin is not offset. I was able to push the cable into the PLC socket and it successfully communicated with the PLC but it is not a perfect fit. I did not notice the pin issue until a technician complained that the cable was difficult to plug into the PLC socket and upon investigation we noticed the pin issue. So, it is pinned out correctly for communication, just beware of the pin 4 issue. Much cheaper than a 1761-CBL-PM02 cable.
