cheap Chinese junk
I got this temp/clock for my truck. It looks ok but, the instructions are worthless. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. The only way to make it better would have better instructions and include the batteries.

Little frustrating to set up
Broke a nail trying to get the back off to put the batteries (2 AAA) in! Once in this thing was difficult to set-up, the directions are not clear at all. Got it set up more by pure luck pushing random buttons that figuring out the instructions. It does work and it's readable now. When we spring forward and I have to reprogram or the batteries quit, I may have more success (fingers crossed!)

Awesome thermometer and clock for outdoor temperature reading and keeping track of time
The media could not be loaded. I wanted an outdoor thermometer to read temperature in the dog house where my tortoise lives. Although this is for a car, it works well just anywhere outside. I thought the temperature sensor had to be attached to a windshield but currently it’s not attached to anything and it still works. I verified the temperature against the phone weather app. My app shows 58 degrees and the thermometer shows 57, so it seems accurate within one degree. It requires 2 AAA batteries which don’t come with it, so you have to supply them. The battery compartment cover was very hard to open but I finally got it open by sliding it down very hard with a lot of pressure. The instructions were hard to follow. So let me explain how I set the time and date. There are little white buttons in the back. Press and hold the one marked with time until you hear a beep and the 24 hr is flashing. If you want it to be in 24 hr format, you can keep pressing the button to move on to the hour and minute numbers to set. But if you prefer the 12 hour format, then press the button above it to switch it. Once done, press the time button again to set the hour and then the minutes. Just change these numbers by pressing the button above the time button and press the time button to go to the next component. Once you get to the year, mine started at 2004, so I had to change it to 2024. The button to press to change the date including year is not the same button as the time one. It’s the one next to it. I wasn’t really looking at which button I was pressing because I needed to see the front screen if the numbers were changing correctly. So it would be much better if these buttons are in the front and better labeled. To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, there’s a button with C/F marked above it. That is all I can think of to share with you so hopefully you will get it done with less frustration.
