Excellent product for increasing insulation thickness and creating a storage area in loft
Despite having issues with the seller initially posting the wrong item, these Loftlegs are an excellent item. Very easy to install once you have pre-drilled the holes in the leg base. The new loftboards feel very sturdy on top of these legs but you have to screw the boards on to the top of the legs, as per the included instructions. I staggered the positions of the legs from rafter to rafter to improve stability. I used 200mm Knauf Eko roll insulation which was perfect for this new gap and 30mm x 4mm Turbodrive wood screws. The photo shows the loft part way through the install.

Good information on the website.
I didn't want to add any more weight to my very old joists by adding more timbre. These have worked very well. I found putting the screws partway into the loft leg before placing on joist good before starting, to avoid losing screws all over your attic.

Good price and the product does the job
Good sturdy spacers and relatively easy to install. Only problem was that screws wouldn't go through the guide marks on the plastic, we had to drill through first.

Did the job perfectly
After adding some more insulation in my loft I needed to raise the floorboards up so as not to crush the new insulation. These loft legs were just the trick and proved quite easy to use, I simply used Reisser Woodscrews which are in themselves excellent, and screwed them down onto the joists. Then laid the boards on top and then screwed down through the boards into the legs again. They've been in use for 4 years now and they take my weight easily without a single one breaking or coming loose.I probably could have done it cheaper with blocks of wood but these made the job so much easier and quicker. Please click the helpful button below if you found my review in any way useful.

Perfect for the job
These legs were fine for supporting loft flooring. Very sturdy and robust no wobble. Screws tend to bind in the plastic, so I found it better to pre-drill the holes in the legs 1st.

Every now and then one starts writing a review for a mundane product and doesn't know how to get across just how great it is!
Every now and then one starts writing a review for a mundane product and doesn't know how to get across just how great it is!This has literally changed my family's life with regards to how we store things. I've used dozens of these in our loft. Very easy to screw into using a Bosch cordless combi-drill. Lay some insulation down for good measure then the chipboard straight on top. Fantastic product, British made from recycled materials too. Don't know how to say anything more positive about it...!Photos to follow...

I would Recommend
Had an extra 7 inches of free insulation fitted in my loft space and still required loft storage, after reading lots of reviews I went for these. As a lot of other people say you need to pre drill the spacers (its a real shame that this wasn't done). As this would have saved a lot of time. Measuring and marking out with my new loft boards, after I had moved all my new free insulation out way, they was easy to install. And so far all my stuff has stayed in the loftI have had to make a ledge in the loft so I got something to kneel on before getting onto the new raised level

A useful product which the manufacturers should update by providing holes ...
A useful product which the manufacturers should update by providing holes for the screws to go through. Fortunately, I have an electric screwdriver, so it wasn't a problem, but I would have hated to try and carry out this job otherwise. Now up in the loft and providing a platform for the Christmas decorations to sit on.
