These clear necklaces are about 25” in circumference at rest, and stretch to about three times that length. They are very durable - so far they go back to their original state when stretched, and they don’t show any marks when chewed. Our grandson loves to chew them (I supervise, though, because they could strangle - if someone was concerned they could cut the necklace to a rope), and he also loves to hold one end while I hold the other and stretch or swing them. It makes him laugh. I would get these again and recommend them.

Our teen loves to chew on things as anxiety management. We were excited to receive this large packet of chew necklaces. They're o.k. They are easily bent out of shape and deformed as soon as you chew on them or stretch them out, which means they look icky very quickly. They'd probably be ok as bracelets, or if you didn't care how they looked...but they are large enough to draw attention to themselves around your neck and if they look rough shaped very quickly (in our case within just a few minutes), then they will not be attractive at all after even a short period of time. The plastic does not become dangerous, just not coiled/not in shape, so it looks like the necklace has come unraveled-ish. The plastic does hold up to chewing in that it is not jagged-edge & it is not coming off of the necklace. So...they're good to chew on, but perhaps not so attractive to wear.

I actually ordered these to cut into sections and use as spool huggers for bobbins. All the spool huggers out there seem to be too big for bobbins or opaque neon colors, which don’t allow me to see the color of the bobbin thread. These are basically the same product used for key bracelets but in a longer length. They worked great for my purpose and there is enough for dozens and dozens of bobbins! Very pleased with this product.

I have a very active 6 year old who will absentmindedly chew on whatever is easily available sometimes (shirt collar, headphone cord, etc.). We've tried different types of these necklaces, usually the ones with a rubber pendant. Those are ok but are more likely to fall apart and potentially be a choking hazard. I like this style, they seem much more difficult to damage or break.They look like an old school phone cord but my chewer is a fan. They get a little gross but they're only a few bucks a piece, not a big investment.

My son no longer chews his shirts when he wears these. A great money saver

I picked these up to use as fidgets. They can be pulled straight, wrapped around an arm or hand, run between fingers, etc. they’re a little long for fidgets if you’re not using them as a necklace, but they do the trick. Exactly as described - I have no complaints.

Long, thick, and smooth. Stretchy.
