Really handy gadget!
I have lots of rechargeable AA batteries for many different devices. More and more devices have built in lithium batteries and charge through USB. I put 4 AA rechargeable batteries in this case and it becomes a power bank. Great idea that works well!

Useless product.
This item does not work. Purchased strongest AA batteries I can but it does not charge a thing. Would return but you have to cut packaging to get it out. Not fit for purpose.

Aa battery power bank
It charges my iPhone ok but a bit slow compared to a normal power bank , but it is not powerful enough to charge my iPad . Be ok if your iPhone goes dead and you need a charge when nothing else available. John

Excellent
Good idea. Slow to charge but it's for emergency and it's a fiver!! You can use non-rechargeable batteries for this.

It works
Not suitable for what I required, I have a item with ultra low currant draw and this like most just turns off after 15-30 seconds, as the current draw is too low for it to recognize. It does work if the current is higher. I would have given it five stars but they try to add to many features the feature not working is the green for alkaline and blue for rechargeable. I has green with either type in, the only difference is that there are only 3 leds on with the fully charged Ni-MH, so it does not recognize they are rechargeable. Still for less than £5 you really can't complain.

Worth to have in your household or EDC
The best emergency power bank possible in my personal opinion when it comes to design, quality, size and price. I have actually purchased quite a few of these for my friends and family with packs of AA batteries as an emergency power banks for a potetial longer blackout. If paired with rechargable batteries depending on their mAh capacity this will charge your average smarphone more than once.

Unfortunately does not work.
Did not charge the phone at all (with fully charged batteries). Refunded. Excellent Amazon service.

Works very well
Great little gadget for using batteries to charge up through a usb device. Can utilise any small charge that's left in a battery to produce usable power.
