Sturdy and safe. Now I can practice

Do not order this product. When it arrived one was broken, loose and wobbly. I wouldn't trust it to hold me. I returned it and ordered another set. Lo and behold the same thing when the replacement came, one was broken.

I install the grips and it was ready to use. (Come with two extras grips). The diameter of the grips are really good and with the wristbands its makes me feel confident and secure doing the exercises.

Pretty sturdy and good quality! Recommended for calisthenics

I am really impressed with the design. I’ve had a few sets of these in the past and one of the big complaints I’ve had was that they were not that stable. These have a wider base than any I've used in the past, and really have great stability. I’m 200 pounds and these worked perfectly fine for that weight. I would recommend these for anyone who wants to get into calisthenics.Surprise Kid FeedbackWhile I got these for myself, my kids have now seen them and they’ve started to get into trying to do handstands and other things on them, and they work just as well for kids as they do for adults. They love them too.MaterialThis is beech wood. It’s sanded smooth, but un-oiled, stained, etc. To take care of them long-term, I would recommend using wood oil, the same kind you might use on a butcher block or wooden kitchen spoons. In addition, on the bottom of the bars there is rubber grip, so you can use it on carpet or hard floors without worrying about slipping or damaging the floor.

The wood on these is nice. The handles are thick, which is nice for a good grip. However, they don't come wrapped and I wasn't totally sure how to use the wrapping material that came with it because it's not sticky. There is a tiny bit of tape to get it started, but I had a heck of time wrapping it myself and making it look professional. If you only want something sturdy, these is great. If you want something more for your money in terms of having it already the grip tape wrapped, keep looking.
