This is for LIGHT support. It is a very thin compression fabric with a flexible metal brace over the back of the thumb. Would easily fit under any type of glove. It does give some warmth to the joint as well. If you're looking for heavy duty support look elsewhere, but if you're just looking for something to help when you're in the last few weeks of recovery from your injury then this should work well for you.

This has zero compression and no support whatsoever. It's absurdly disrespectful that anyone would even sell this. And it's so expensive too. For what? This is nothing. The thing that's supposed to give support along the thumb has no resistance at all. With this on, the hand moves completely normally. This doesn't just not work well; it does nothing at all.

I like the fact that it is light weight but adds enough support for me.

I over stretched my thumb and this product works well with my busy work life. Vey comfortable, size was perfect. As for pain relief it didn't help to much.

This is a great splint / brace. It isn't bulky, it is comfortable and not very conspicuous. It is a keeper and I have already given one as a gift.
