Not for Softail
This unit does not fit the HD Softail mount. HD touring bikes have a completely different way of mounting than Softails.

This product did not come with a screw and nut to install.

I installed this on a 2013 harley eletraglide. It would not fit by it self and hold the headlight secure. So I installed it over the chrome ring and it fit and blacked out the chrome. It did work for that. If that's what your looking for.

Good fit, no seam gap
Perfect fit on 09 HD RK. If upgrading to LED with new headlight bucket at the same time, do yourself a favor and just tighten headlight bracket till it touches the rubber grommets (not too tight) so you you can get this trim ring behind it.

looks great, mounting a bit flakey
These look good but due to the way the cover clamps around the existing headlight bezel it's not very stable.. The existing factory bezel is a snap in mount so when trying to mount the new cover it tends to un-snap the head light.. I finally got it to grip the main body but It does not seem very secure.. But in the end it really improves the look of the head light as can be seen in the photos.. Harley has a similar bezel but is Way too expensive...

Be patient
Product fit on my 2016 HD softtail. Must keep on original headlight ring and this fits over the ring. May take a min to position it and work it on but I am very pleased with the look and product overall.
