Exact replacement for my aged Maplins soldering iron station.
Arrived fast, exact replacement and works just as good as my old one did, before it broke! So I purchased two more, just in case they stop being made. Great tool and great value.

48 watt replacement solder iron fits maplin 4 pin
48watt temperature controlled by maplin old iron 4pin replacement works very well, good quality gr8 functionality heat level ease of use very quick to 400C would recommend.

Like for like replacement.
I needed to replace the heating element on my Maplins solder station, and since they have gone out of business I thought I would be out of luck. Turns out the iron component of their solder station is used on many different designs, and so this was a like for like replacement, and cheaper than replacing just the element, which was difficult to come by. Hopefully another 5 years of service to come.
