Perfect for Chemo Port Infusion Days or TPN
All the Oncology nurses appreciated the easy access this shirt provides. The snaps along the arm seams worked very well with my husband’s chemo pump tubing. The shirt could be completely unbuttoned allowing us to change the shirt during the 48hr hookup of the pump tubing. It also works well with my husbands PICC line when he receives TPN.My husband appreciates the soft material - it is a great material. He also was very thankful when his stoma had leakage that we could just unsnap the shirt and I didn’t have to pull it over his head or cut it off him.I bought 2 shirts in June and have washed them at least 2 times a week over the past 4 months and they are holding up very well with no shrinkage. All the snaps are functioning well. These shirts are sooo worth the money.

Soft, functional and nurse-approved
Bought these for my husband’s open heart surgery. The material is super soft and much more comfortable than a gown. I was surprised at how much the hospital staff loved them. He spent five days before surgery and the nurses all complimented us on how nice the shirts were. What surprised me is that the second day after his CABG, they were completely fine with him wearing the shirts again. The snaps actually allow quicker access than untying a gown and, bonus feature, snaps can be left open here and there for wires, chest tubes, etc to feed out from the abdomen. He could then carry the Holter portable monitor in his shorts pockets which were much more secure for walks, bathroom trips etc. He likes that it doesn’t have to be tied up at the neck. (That knot in the hospital gown started digging into his neck badly when carrying the Holter and was painful.)Yes, the snaps take some help to reattach but totally worth it. If only one side or arm or shoulder is affected, it can snapped together most of the way ahead of time. It launders easily. It also provides a bit of privacy (as much as there can be any sense of privacy in the hospital) by being able to open just what’s needed for the current check or procedure. Nursing doesn’t have to be constantly attending to untied or bunched up gowns. I remember reading some comments about handwashing but I’ve been washing on the delicate cycle and the shirt launders great. I dry in the dryer part way then hang to dry not sure if it’s necessary but it’s how I handle drying of all of my husband’s shirts.Fits generally true to size but I recommend ordering up. My husband’s usually an XLT or 2XLT if a shirt is cut very slim. I ordered the 2XL first for ease of fit and bc I figured he would need extra length. He’s 6’6” and about 220 lbs. The 2XL was fine for abdomen fit (there is fluid gain after surgery) but was a bit short for him. Ordered the next two size 3XL and it’s loose around the middle and longer length. Definitely not a super loose fit.Would be 6 stars if they made the front pocket a bit bigger and did print tags instead of seen in.

Must have for reverse shoulder replacement
Absolutely a life saver! Minimizes effort to dress and undress. Slips over surgical shoulder, head and second arm. True to size, no need to size up. We ordered 4 short sleeve shirts. One draw back, the snaps are small plastic closures. They are difficult to close and require strong pressure, it would be easier if theywere larger or made of metal.

Great quality, snaps a little hard to snap and unsnap
These shirts are really nice when my son is in the hospital and his PICC is hooked up to an IV. The snaps are plastic so they don't interfere with any equipment or tests that he might have when he is there. The fabric is really soft, smooth, cool and comfortable. The snaps are pretty tight but he has learned to close them without any help, but I can see how an old person might struggle with that. The shirts wash up beautifully and don't shrink and they are colorfast. (Although we don't have a red one so I don't know how that color would hold up. Sometimes red dye isn't as colorfast as the others.) We'll be using these for a long time so I'm very pleased with their quality and overall they're a great purchase for us and imo worth the price.

Works great after open-heart surgery
The design with the snaps make it easy to get the shirt on and off without me having to raise my arms up over my head. A friend of ours bought me one to wear home from the hospital and I liked them so much that I bought four more. The material is very soft and comfortable to the skin, even over my large chest incision. Just be aware that the snaps are a little tight and hard to snap the first time you wear the shirt. After the first time, the snaps work much easier. Very happy overall with this purchase and would highly recommend this shirt for after surgery recovery.

Amazing
Got this for my husband after he had an open-heart like surgery. These were a complete lifesaver for weeks. They snap all the way up both sides and snap all along the top. Made it very easy for the nurses and doctors to get to his incision and for me to help him dress and undress during the most difficult time of recovery.

Great after rotator cuff surgery
My husband sat shirtless in our recliner for the first two full days after his rotator cuff surgery. The large bolster on his sling made it pretty uncomfortable to try to wear a button up shirt because of the bulk being so much he could only do up 3 buttons and even then half his chest was exposed.I was so happy to find this fully openable shirt. It will work for surgery on either side of the body and has plenty of snaps to keep it closed and look like a regular t-shirt. The material is lightweight, skin friendly, soft and breathable. It's is machine washable and dryer safe on low heat. It is super easy to dress around the large bolster sling. The snaps are tight, so I do have to help him with them but at least he can go out in public now. I am well pleased with this garment and recommend it to anyone looking at surgery. Get a couple in advance so you can rotate them as they need washing. They are not much more than a standard T-shirt and are worth every penny paid making them a great value for anyone with medical needs that nessecitate an easy open design.

It looks great to use for after surgery
It does look like it would work great. The snaps were way to itchy for him to wear all day.
