I bought a Midea washing machine off someone and it came with one of these snap coupling adapters too but I think the previous owner either left one of the rubber gaskets in her faucet or she messed around with it too much but it leaked a bit when I first connected it and after I tried messing around with it, it just got worse. I saw this on Amazon and I thought why not? What do I have to lose for less than $10? So I ordered it and low and behold my stock adapter was missing the gasket that sits on top of the aerator portion that connects to the faucet, which would explain the leaking. I tried taking just the top gasket off the new adapter and attaching it to the old one and it worked! But regardless, I decided to keep it because it’s nice and new and shiny and the snap coupling works better and smoother than the old one, where I had to yank at the connection pretty hard to get it off, which can’t be good for the faucet in the long term. This one is super smooth, doesn’t leak at all (knock on wood), and fits perfectly with my faucet and hose. The only thing to keep in mind is that the aerator is a male connector so make sure your faucet has a female connector, otherwise you’ll just have to buy a simple adapter that you can easily find on Amazon that’ll run you just under $8. Super happy because I thought I ruined my sink or I had to fill my sink up with a bucket since the connection was leaking but that’s not an issue anymore!

This is very good quality coupling from what I can tell. Incredibly easy to install. Lost the hose with attachment for my portable washer, used a regular washer hose and added this to the my chosen faucet (worked on both bathroom aerator and kitchen) and voila, much heavier duty than the one that came with the washer originally. Also much more esthetically pleasing than the other too as the faucet looks almost normal when the hose with “female” coupling is snapped off for using the faucet only. Without the aerator the sink does obviously flow differently but very minor problem overall for how simple this makes detaching and hooking up washer for use.
