Worked well for 8 months, then the backlight died. Clock still worked. No battery indicator to suggest the batteries were low. I thought it was broken (because I’d have expected the clock to die if the batteries were too low), but a battery change fixed it.

I got this (2, actually) for Hubby. He is developing cognitive issues, and needs a clock that is easy to use and easy to read. This little clock fits both needs, and the alarm is loud enough to wake him, even though he does not sleep with his hearing aids in. (One should not sleep with their hearing aids in.) I got them in white, which fits our household color scheme very well. I'm tempted to get one for my morning alarm clock, but I am trying to NOT buy anything that I don't absolutely have to have.It's battery operated, so if the power goes out, which it does more often these days, these two little clocks are two things we don't have to worry about.I recommend these clocks.

I love the large numbers on this clock. Keeps time perfectly. I like that it is simple and easy to operate, but also looks nice on my bathroom shelf. Perfect for a bathroom, as it has withstood the heat and moisture from baths and showers with no problem.

Everything about this alarm clock is great except the display brightness. There aren’t any settings for brightness at all. I understand the purpose of having a dim option because some don’t use it to read the time at all, just as an alarm clock but if you want to be able to read the time you are out luck at night and depending on your vision maybe during the day as well. It shouldn’t be at such a low brightness literally at all times. Hitting the snooze button is the only time it gets bright and it only lasts for a few seconds. It’s mentioned in the description but I didn’t expect it to be this low. I wish there was actual settings/options in terms of the brightness. This clock is nice and I get wanting to advertise it as simple but it’s a bit too simple if you ask me.

This little clock is simple to use and durable. So great for a child’s room. It’s a bright happy pink my daughter loves and so far has kept the time well. I liked that it has a light up button. So it’s not bright all night just when she wants to see the time. The little alarm is a simple but loud enough beeping. All in all we’re content with it.

Exterior has a fun, easy to grip rubber cover. Large buttons, easy to set but also easy to accidentally turn off the alarm. We ordered the purple, really like the color & the light is just right. Will order again!

Siempre he manejado este tipo de despertador porque es práctico y no pasa nada si se llega a caer aunque un poco alto el precio pero muy buen reloj

This alarm is just perfect for a simple clock. EASY to set the time and alarm. EASY to turn off in the morning. And my last 2 alarm clocks were neigther so this is a welcome change! The silicone cover keeps it in place on my dresser and the size is great. Not too small but big enough that I can read the time without my glasses.Now, here is the one thing that might make or break this clock for you.... When you press a button the numbers illuminate and after maybe 10 seconds that illumination turns off. You can still read the time in a lit room. This is great if you are one of those people who doesn't want artificial light in their room while they sleep. But know this- in order to view the time in a dark room you must push a button (any button) to view the time. I'm ok with this. It's great for me because I like a dark room. But that might be one thing to note for yourself. Bottom line? Solid, simple well priced clock. Lots of value here.UPDATE Jan 20/17: Our daughter had a problem with her own alarm clock (a different kind), and so I temporarily gave her my Plumeet one. Well, I have had to order another one because she won't give it back! She loves it. I also ordered one for our son. We thoroughly enjoy using this clock.UPDATE Jan 2019: I have now been using this alarm clock for 3+ years. I still love it and recommend this clock! I have only changed the batteries once in all this time. I guess if something were to happen to it I would want to buy this one again. However, I can see the price has doubled since my original purchase, and that might be a consideration in re-purchasing it. Its a GREAT clock, but at $40+...that is a little steep for what it is.
