If you're looking at this one, you're probably sick and tired of all the ridiculous "safety features" of the plastic cans that end up making you spill more gas than not. I debated over spending this much on a gas can, but I can say it was worth the money after using it - so much so that I bought a second one.The safety mechanism is functional without being ridiculous. You just pull back the yellow handle, tilt and pour, and the gas is channeled by the attached funnel piece. The funnel is easily removable for gas station refills. You may have to "burp" the can by pulling back on the handle for a moment before pouring if it has accumulated trapped fumes from temp changes. Simple to use and frustration free.

This can is metal and has a safety valve to prevent the can from exploding. I had a plastic can explode in my car trunk and that is dangerous..This gas can is compelely safe.Another Great Product From Amazon.

Item arrived crushed in on both sides. The packaging box was intact so likely shipped out already damaged!

Safety wise, the best can on the market.I ordered a gasoline can, which is color coded red, but received a yellow can, the code for diesel. Since I was pressed for time, and going out of town, and knowing that some gas stations monitor the can colors, I painted it, rather then return it. That is the only reason it's not 5 star overall.
