PeugeotFidji 8-Inch Pepper & Salt Mill Set, Olive Wood

We had a smaller black set from Peugeot and loved them. We did have to refill them often so looked into a larger set. These were beautiful and same amazing quality as the last set. The smaller set took their place on the table, while these are now the primary for in the kitchen. Love them!

Salt does not grind well, pepper no better. When refilling, salt pours through the unit. No question, they are visually attractive, but functionally useless. A waste of money, as while trying several types of salt and pepper, the window for return passed. Buyer beware, don’t waste your money on this set.

The pepper mill works well, providing a fine or coarse ground as needed, with a smooth action, but the salt mill does not work properly. It’s loose, and even when tightened, just becomes loose again, and it doesn’t do a fine grind at all. The issue became apparent after the return date. The Peugeot support web page link doesn’t bring me to a support page. I called the support number, and didn’t get an answer. I would like the salt mill replaced.

I love these salt and pepper grinders. They are very stylish. The olive wood is just the right color to match my beach house. The shape and size are perfect. I use them while cooking and at every meal.

Got these Peugeot mills a little while ago and have been happy with the grind. The salt comes out very large and at a large volume. It is not workable. The pepper is a better grinder, but rather noisy. I returned these. Though they are beautiful, they were not a good quality in terms of function.
