I have a big boy - typical, large Tom cat, but also tall. He was using a plastic dome, covered box with a flap in the front, and not only did it continue to break over the years, but the entrance/exit in the front only helped him to kick litter everywhere on the way out. I constantly had litter all over the floor because he scattered it everywhere (almost like he was doing it on purpose 🤔). Despite thinking that this litterbox was more expensive than I wanted a box to be, I wanted something easier to clean up and needed something tall and big enough for my large cat. My cat loves this box and so do I, here's why:1) the stainless steel is durable, easy to clean, and doesn't hold odors.2) the entrance/exit is on top and only a circle in the middle. It's large enough for him to get in and out without issue. The ribbed surface around the hole catches litter and has significantly decreased (almost to zero!) the amount of litter on the floor.3) the top is also super solid and my cat like to sit there sometimes before or after using the box. Like I said, I have a big boy, and the top easily holds up to his weight.4) the top is also very easy to remove but stays in place once you have it closed.5) Lastly, I live in a one-bedroom so I don't have a lot of space and especially not for a litterbox. This box is more long than wide so I can keep it in the same place as the old box and keep it behind the door in the bathroom.Again, this one is a but pricey but I find that it is totally worth it and has made cleaning the litterbox much less of a chore. Easy to open and close, easy to clean, and my cat loves it.

I This is very sturdy - definitely a good investment. It was much larger than I realized it was going to be- I'm sure my cat prefers that though. I like the top entrance- but the black shows dust a lot easier. Quick to wipe off though

I wanted to wait to write a review on this Stainless steel litter box as I wanted to try it out for a few months to see if we liked it but most of all if our 2 -17lb cats liked it. We chose the larger size because our cats are so big. We bought the little box in January and now it is May 2024. It is so easy to clean. I love that we don't have the cat pee smell that our previous cat little box had which was made of plastic. I will never go back to the plastic ones. I also love that our cats can't kick the litter out of the box due to the opening being on the top of the box. We love this litter box and so do our fur babies.

This litter box is very durable. Our kitties quickly adapted to the top entry and seem to like it. It is easy to clean and litter does not stick to the stainless pan.

This box is a good size on the inside with a big entry hole. Easy to clean and holds the smell well.

I bought the JOISTOON extra large size of this stainless steel cat litter box (top entry) after researching and reading tons of reviews and, thankfully; it is perfect for my cats. I have two active, picky and quite messy cats. They go in and out easily and has plenty space to do their business. The sleek design helps to trap the litter sand reducing the mess and I absolutely love the modern color which makes it perfect for my house. Delivery was timely and came in pristine condition with instructions and all. I just wish the scoop matched the color of the top of the box but it obviously don't affect the greatness of this litter box.

This is my true personal opinion about this product. I did not receive any kind of gratuity for this review.This is by far the best litter box I’ve ever purchased. The top and bottom are both made of heavy duty material, and the top fits securely on top of the pan. I cannot say urine doesn’t stick to the bottom but I can say it’s super easy to scrape, unlike the plastic box I had. It’s super easy to clean with scooper. The way the top is designed , it does help keep litter off the floor. I bought this box because I have two cats, and I wanted one litter box big enough to accommodate both cats and this one does it. It was the biggest box I could find. I was skeptical about the cost, but I am not disappointed! This litter box will last a lifetime. Both of my cats are happy with it and it keeps my dog out of the ‘snack’ box. It was packaged very well and arrived without damage. I highly recommend this box. It’s pricy but it will be the last box you ever have to purchase.

The litter definetly does stick to the bottom and sides and must be scraped off. Also, while it is possible that the stainless steel pan doesn’t absorb odors, the plastic top smells like a barn after only 10 days of use… my cat still tracks litter everywhere because she jumps out of the box and runs for it… litter all over the top around the entry and litter all over the place outside. Nothing special about this pan. For the price, go with a pan alone and figure out a cover or barriers yourself. This is not worth this price.

My cat didn't like the top opening and wouldn't use it. I dug out the old plastic tray until I could gt something else and he did a huge pee within half and hour. Seems like he was holding on for a clearer opening. I liked the stainless steel tray as it is easy to scoop and clean and Stoll and litter do not stick to it.
