My second phone with a Speck case, the first saved my phone so many times I lost count
The Samsung S23 Ultra has a problem. It's large, heavy, and as slippery as a bar of wet soap, so you are almost guaranteed to drop it if you don't take that gorgeous phone and put it into some sort of grippy protective case. Ironic, I know. But now comes a moment of inflection. Do you want so much protection that your phone is safe....but looks like an industrial brick? Do you want something that will save you from minor scuffs and scratches but probably won't do much if you drop your phone? Or do you want something in between? If you want something in between, the Speck Presidio 2 is the case for you, with these features -- good reference for any case:1) Reinforced corners -- the part of the phone most likely to have impact2) Reinforced sides -- a good case has some flex on the inside, but is rigid all around the edges. Many cases have rigid parts, but not around the entire exterior.3) Has a good grip4) Fits snugly so nothing will jiggle out of place if the phone is dropped5) Is slightly elevated around both the screen and the camera lensesThe Speck ticks all these boxes. It does NOT give you a screen or lens protector, but I prefer these to be separate so they can be replaced separately from the case if need be.FYI, this is my second Speck case. The first one protected my old LG G8 for 4 years. That phone got dropped and banged many times, and the Speck saved its life an equal number of times. I trust the Speck case because I've used a Speck case. Now is protection guaranteed for every drop? Of course not, but this is, on the whole, a great case. And it will leave your S23 Ultra still looking sleek.

Thin, grippy, and functional
I love this case. It's not bulky, So it goes in and out of my pocket MUCH more easily than the original expensive case I had. It's nice and grippy, too. I've dropped the phone a number of times since buying it and no damage to the phone.

Nice slimer case with decent screen and camera protection.
Have not had a Speck case in a long time. I did like them back in the day and continue to enjoy them now. This is a slimer/lighter case then some on the market but that is what I was looking for. Still seems to have a decent amount of screen/camera bezel protection as well overall phone. I did not want an expensive heavy duty case as I am pretty easy on my phones. Added a glass screen protector to round out package. Fits snugly and buttons are easily to use. Overall really happy with design and function of this case.

LOVE THE CASE...HATE COLOR SELECTION!
I cannot say enough good things about Speck phone cases. I have used them for years on all my phones and they have helped my phone survive some spectacular fumbles and drops. They feel secure in your hands due to the unique ribbed soft surface. Great product! BUT MY ONLY QUESTION IS WHY DO I HAVE TO PICK FROM THE THREE DREARY COLORS AVAILABLE? There are some of us out here who would love to have a phone that DOES NOT blend into the scenery! What would it hurt to have a nice vibrant RED...with white ribs that could be spotted easily on a cluttered surface? Something cheerful as well as dignified. I purchased a new Samsung Ultra 23 a month ago to replace my older Ultra. The older phone had a Speck case in white with black ribs...the case with the most contrast I could find. For the new one I decided to go red. I found one with good reviews and many of the same design, safety & drop features of the Speck. Beautiful case, really sturdy, easy to find when I put it down. I used it for about a month and really enjoyed the bright cheerful color. Sadly, when you buy a phone this expensive, you want the most protection you can provide...and that to me means Speck. I've seen first hand the protection it provides. So now I am the resentful (not proud or happy) owner of dull blue Speck case. Come on now guys...can you not provide at least one bright color? I have given my sturdy valued dreary Speck case 4 stars...because every time I have to hunt it, I can't help but think about that cheerful red case!

Slim, lightweight, sturdy
Slim, lightweight and sturdy. I need advice on removing the case to install a screen protector. Case is very tight to the phone.

I've used Speck Grip cases for 6 phones and nearly well over 15 years.
What can I say...I'm a butterfingers. I'm really hard on my phones. I need a protective case that can take a beating and I need a very grippy case, because I drop my phone a lot. But, I also don't want a bulky case. I like my phone to fit in my pockets or a very small hip bag.I discovered Speck's grippy cases, with their rubbery, ribbed texture, way back when I had a Samsung Galaxy S3...yeah, that long ago. They are the perfect mix of being able to take drastic drops on very hard services, being very grippy, and being slim enough to fit in my pockets.Since then, I've relied on them to protect 6 of the phones I have. So, the other day, when I got my new S24 Ultra, I came on Amazon to shop for my usual Speck Grip case, but was disappointed again this year, but their boring color choices. They've had very limited and drab color choices for the Samsung S series of phones since the Note 20 Ultra. Sorry Speck, but you have. While looking at the Speck cases, I saw another case, very similar to Speck's Grip cases, from a different company, that had a large variety of fun colors. That other company also included Magsafe compatibility in their cases, which I liked. So, instead of buying the Speck I'd intended to buy, I got the one from the different company in a pretty, bright, not boring color. This turned out to be a mistake. That case was a pretty pink, but it was very slippery and not grippy at all. Sure as heck, I would have ended up dropping my phone all the time if I kept the pretty pink case. So, now the pink case is on its way back to the seller and my new Speck Grip case arrived today.I can hold my phone confidently again.Trust these cases. They are great!Speck, please make your grippy cases in pretty colors again! Also, please consider making them with the thin, round magnetized feature, like the Magsafe compatible cases.Thank you for years of protecting my phones and keeping them in like-new, mint condition, after many, many hard falls.
