TL;DR: bland flavor, mostly rice-cracker-like texture. Mainly rice, not much protein, little bbq flavor, severely overpriced. Pass.Although I'm generally a fan of Crunchmaster products, this one leaves me lukewarm. The protein comes from garbanzo bean flour and rice protein isolate, but there are only about 5 g of protein in a 30 g serving. There are crackers with much higher protein content available, and I suspect Crunchmaster is trying to piggyback on the high protein/low carb movement with a product that really isn't up to standards.The ingredients are mostly rice flour and rice protein. They are vegan, gluten- and soy-free. They do contain corn. A 30 g serving has 20 g digestible (net) carbohydrate and 2 g fiber. These are in no manner low-carb.The texture is better than most rice crackers, crunchy, not too hard, not too brittle or crumbly, but still closer to rice cracker than saltine cracker. The BBQ flavor is weak to nonexistent. Except for the bbq dust on my fingers as I eat them, I wouldn't realize these were flavored in any particular manner. Sodium content is 90 mg/serving, which is lower than most chips.There are only 3 1/2 oz of chips in a bag, meaning these cost $1 an ounce. $16/lb crackers is difficult to swallow when rice wholesales for less than 10¢ a pound. These are priced similarly to protein crackers made of more expensive ingredients like nut flour and cheese, and Crunchmaster is laughing all the way to the bank.With ample choice among better tasting gluten-free and other crackers on the market, these have nothing special to recommend them.
