RAM-HOL-UN7T Tether for X-Grip UN7

Love this tether.I have the Ram X grip with Bar mounts on my motorbike which originally did not come with the tether. I tried riding with my phone (samsung s7) without the tether and although it seemed stable enough, I always worried it would fall out of the grip. Adding the tether everything seems much more stable and stops me worrying. I can even move the phone in the xgrip and the tether holds firm.

Good piece of kit was little worried about using phone on the motorbike so bought this to make sure the x grip had a bit of added security when using phone on the bike in the Netherlands. performed really well just look out for the buttons on the side of the phone for the volume or power but that's more to do with the x grip.Once it was set up never moved no problems at all would recomend

The tether was a known product for me. This was bought to replace one that had lasted some 4+ years before breaking. Order was fulfilled in good time and arrived ok. However the this then snapped in 2 places on the same day (after approx 1 weeks use). The response from the vendor was 1st class and within a short time a further replacement was received which seems to be coping well

I use an xgrip on my motorbike and even though the fit is very tight I wanted some extra reassurance that my phone wouldn't fly off unexpectedly. This did the job brilliantly. Fits a oneplus 6 snugly.

Have a ram mount fitted currently but the rubber support strap snapped( heavy handed use). Ordered a new one which included the x mount. Now have a spare mount and new strap which is great value.

Seems dried out and not very supple as I expected. A little disappointing.

Do yourself a favour and spend a fiver buying one of these. Don’t be stupid and think that the X mount on your motorbike will be strong enough without one to hold your £1000 iPhone over everyone pot hole on our appalling UK roads…. Like I did!!!

Peace of mind, securing the phone.

The rubber th ether snapped the first time used. The original one lasted 4 years. It is too small for the I Phone 13.

Still think it’s a poor design, but these are exact replacements for the RAM mount.
