These feathers are perfect for my "weird lady" vase. They're very soft and fluffy, and the color looks very natural. The, um, spines? Stems? Are short, so these might not work well for a clear vase. I stuffed some bubble wrap inside the vase for height and stability.

These are absolutely beautiful and so soft. I love these type of feathers and just the delicate softness about them. I’m going to use these in Mardi Gras mask and I cannot wait to work with them.

I ordered the 10-12" pack. I received a pack that had 10" hand written on the label and when I measured them none of the feathers were over 10". They were all pretty decent quality. I always prefer to have ones that curl and flow around the edges, there was one the fit that standard for me, but the others are still nice enough to use just not very flowy and fancy.

If you've watched RuPaul's Drag Race (and who doesn't??) you know what a burden it can be to find just the right gift for these demanding ladies. Because you know, of course, that if you don't get it right, they will definitely let you know.It occurred to me that these feathers might be the perfect gift for your drag friends. So I actually consulted with a drag artist here in Manhattan who has graced the stage of Drag Race, and they echoed: "'ostrich is one of the surest ways to instantly add a touch of upscale glamour to your look!"I'm not a professional when it comes to judging ostrich feathers, but these were everything I expected. Most were about 9" to 10" long, and they were multi-colored. I was relieved to learn that no one goes and pulls out these feathers; all have fallen off naturally, then been cleaned and sanitized. These came in the color I asked for. They were fluffy and clean. But they were the smaller craft store size of about six inches. Not a full big 12 inch wide centerpiece size like I imagined at least a few of them would be.

Perfect addition to my "moody" wreath. The black is solid and bold. Feathers are all uniform shape and size. No feather shedding either. For sz reference, they are in a 36" wreath

I admit - when I got these shipped to me in they were in a crinkly plastic bag all stuffed in there...I was prepared to be not impressed.But...pulling them out...fluffy bits of joy. These will become part of a hat, and I'm so, so glad they are just as described.

These ostrich plumes were very lovely. Great length for just about any use. And the black was true, even and deep. I am quite pleased. It says that the length is between 10-12 inches, but I didn't see that big of a variation in the length. Mine were all pretty close to the same length, right about 12 inches. They were all vary full and fluffy, too. Of course, they can't be identical but it seems that whomever sorted them took care that the package was fairly uniform in size. Also, they were packaged with care so as to prevent them from becoming crushed and mangled in shipping which I was quite impressed with. They look great and are very silky. Nice high quality for craft ostrich plumes. I definitely plan on getting more of these, in other colors besides black, in the very near future.
