Overall a very realistic imitation eucalyptus tree. Including the pot, the tree stands at nearly 160cm tall.The main trunk/branches are made of real wood and look very realistic. The leaves are equally impressive and a lot of attention has gone into these. They are soft subtle and realistic looking, requiring up close inspection to tell they aren’t real.In my option the areas were it’s slightly let down is the transition from the main wooden stems into the fake branches. They have tapered and rounded the wooden section to a point and then inserted the fake plastic branches into the end. This is the first point they gives away that the tree is not real, although you do need to be fairly close to spot this.The second point is the pot. They have use a heavy resin/sand mix inside a small pot to give the tree some weight and stability. The soil effect is too uniform and the pot size too small for the tree size/height. If you potted a real tree in a pot the tree would topple over far too easily, so again the pot gives the game away.I’ve put this complete pot into a larger pot and covered with small gravel. Now in a room corner it is very hard to spot it is not a real tree.Definitely worthy of 4 stars, and 5 if they addressed the two points I mentioned.

This beautiful looking Eucalyptus tree is a little unique in that the manufacturers have used real wood for the main trunk and paired it with artificial leaves to give you a really high quality, attractive looking and long lasting plant to help brighten up your indoor space. Your new ‘tree’ arrives in a smaller than expected box, but this is because the tree comes in two easy to assemble sections. The base half has a small but heavy duty plastic and concrete pot for stability whilst the upper section containing most of the foliage simply needs you to unfurl the leaves and shape the tree to how full you would like it.The base pot is actually pretty small compared to similar items available within the marketplace at present, but that’s actually a good thing as it has purposefully been designed that way to allow you to ‘re-pot’ your new tree in a larger container that you can purchase yourself, thus allowing you the freedom and flexibility to be able to match the style and colour palette of your home. I love this idea and wish more manufacturers adopted a similar approach. The actual size of the attached base pot is just 5 x 4 inches. Once you have placed the base section in a pot of your choice, your new tree simply slots together by means of a small but reasonably thick metal pin and corresponding hole hidden discreetly inside each of the wooden trunk sections. Once connected, it’s hard to tell where the two sections join unless you happen to be examining the tree up close.This faux eucalyptus tree is so super easy to maintain. No watering, pruning or feeding required. Simply maintain a light dusting every week to keep your new tree in great condition. For me, otherwise known by my partner as ‘the plant killer’ this faux tree offers the perfect solution to my clumsy over enthusiastic green fingers. Unlike some cheaper alternatives, the artificial leaves here are well made and don’t look obviously fake, and I am happy to say that I was genuinely really rather pleased and impressed by quite how good a quality this faux plant is. I cannot find anything to fault or dislike about this plant at all and I would be more than happy to recommend it to anyone. A truly beautiful, well manufactured and high quality piece. And what’s more, I can’t kill it off - Simply perfect!
