This rope is Long lasting, lightweight, tough, and easy to handle. I used it for cutting down the tree in my front yard.

Really good product for the money I would recommend

I was looking for a rope to do some tree work and repelling. The rope is strong and seems durable, but it is also quite stiff and somewhat slick in texture, meaning it can be tough to knot and get friction knots like a prusik and a Blake's hitch to bite. Also, when using a Blake's hitch to ascend, I noted the sheath moving somewhat significantly. It didn't cause any major issues, but I was also only testing it out for maybe 15 minutes, not relying on it for high ascents, significant movement up and down the rope, or high stresses.Additionally, the stiffness of the rope makes it hard to coil, hard to shape knots correctly, and holds kinks and twists in the rope.Having said that, I didn't pay a lot for this rope and probably got what I paid for. I will use it, but will probably not rely on it alone for high stakes applications. I think a trusted name brand like black diamond is a worthwhile investment for long term serious use.

Worked as intended, used to help direct trees when falling them.
