Great fix!
Hubby used these to secure a fence post that had broken below ground level. He dug down and added fresh concrete first as somehow there wasn’t any, at least in the first 18”, then when it dried he installed the Post Buddy repair kit. Nice solid post now, no more wobbling! Would recommend. He said it was easy to do.

Fantastic cheap post fix
Fantastic! I have a very old (20 years) fence post and it was very wobbly. The Post Buddy did the trick!Very easy to fit, especially using a clout hammer. You do have to purchase your own screws but that's not really an issue.I've never done anything like this before but it only took about twenty minutes.I'm very impressed with the stability of the old post now.

Impessive
I am a 68 year old woman and was able to do this repair myself. Sturdy materials. Video is helpful to learn how to install. Because of my age and weakling status, I had to do it in stages but I did get them driven into the ground and screwed in place. The post is super sturdy now. A happy repair!

Surprisingly effective!
I was a bit skeptical as my fence had a single rotted support that was 6"x6" and was too large for the other options. I pounded them in with a 3 pound mallet (the grass was wet after a full day of rain making it really easy). The rot was worse than I had thought after digging but the fence post is now sturdy enough to support gusty winds (approx. 50 kms/hr) without visibly budging. My best guess, it's at 75-80% strength of my other posts (that are rock solid), It would take a good push to rock it a fair bit. Sturdy enough to buy a person time before a total post replacement is needed...maybe even buy you a few years?
