Norpro Bamboo 12-Inch Slotted Spatula

I've purchased these wooden spoons twice. They work really well to break up meat in my cast iron skillet. I put them in the dishwasher (not sure if that's recommended) so they do break apart with time and washing but I do like them which is why I bought them twice!

Good slotted spatula. Hand wash only!

This bamboo spatula has some unknown chemical coating or finish on it. If you want natural bamboo without unknown heated chemicals touching your food, don't buy this item. Item looks and feels nice, but safety first. It's also very narrow only 2 1/8 inches wide.

This thing is nice.

Bought it for stir fry. After a few uses, half an inch of tip of spatula turned black and charred. Didn't last very long. replaced with Earlywood 10 inch scraper/spatula. I would not recommend this spatula.

I was cooking some ground beef and a section just fell off. I have some bamboo spatulas from a $6 set that have lasted years through dishwashers, high temps and repeated abuse. This did not last a month.
