Lovely spa experience
My children have swapped from being bath to shower lovers but have missed the bath bomb experience. These lovely shower steamers have proved to be a great alternative.Arriving in a lovely ombré coloured tub, this set includes 8 scented steamers. Scents included are tea tree, peppermint, lemon, lavender, rose, eucalyptus, black castor oil and rosemary. Each steamer is individually wrapped, so you could separate and gift individually if you wanted to make up your own hamper style set.Very easy to use, you just put the steamer at the bottom of the shower and then turn on the water. The scents are lovely — strong but not overpowering — and bring a really nice relaxing aromatherapy / spa feel to shower time. These steamers are inexpensive at under £10 for the set, and my children absolutely love them (as do we parents).Highly recommend.

Nice aromas
As soon a you open the packet with these you can smell a strong scent. I popped in the baton of my bath when using an over bath shower. They activate and fizz when wet giving off a nice gentle aroma. It didn’t smell to over powering. Stops working after a while when removed from a water source so didn’t completely dissolve giving enough left for a second use

Probably for enclosed showers
Used with an over the bath shower didn't create much vapour, but does get more uses out of one.Following the package instructions, by adding some water to get it started, then relying on the surrounding steam and water spray to keep it going. It started well, I placed it in the plastic lid of an old cotton bud container, as I couldn't tell if this was okay to be on the body, and added a splash of water to get it fizzing.Within 20 seconds it had stopped, and I guess there isn't enough spray from my shower to re-activate it, and the extraction fan doesn't leave enough lingering steam to get it going that way either. Perhaps if you have an enclosed shower you may get better results. As it is, one has lasted over 3 showers. Each one comes individually packaged within the cardboard tube, so you can safely store them in a bathroom cupboard without them activating.Once activated, the smell does linger, so managing to get a few uses out of each one isn't too bad, and if you're sensitive to scents, perhaps using them bit by bit may be easier on the senses. I imagine a whole one dissolved could be quite overwhelming.Would make a very attractive gift with very pretty packaging.

Not keen on the scent
I was looking forward to trying these but unfortunately really don’t like them. Most of them, particularly the tea tree and mint had (in addition to the headline fragrance) a strong underlying artificial scent to them and almost smelled like toilet cleaner. They have a number of additional ingredients than those in the description on the product page. I also don’t really trust the ingredients as the first one on each tablet is the essential oil so they aren’t listed in order of quantity. The lemon one was the only one I found in any way pleasant smelling. They are plain white tablets in appearance. There was a strong scent to them initially but this disappear within a minute or so despite the tablet itself lasting around ten minutes, and this was in an enclosed and steamy shower. They certainly didn’t fill the (small) bathroom or beyond with scent. They did dissolve completely.

Great Idea
I cannot use a bath due to mobility issues and I miss bath bombs and the lovely fragrance they emit. That's why I was so keen to try these shower steamers. I wondered if they would have the same relaxing effect. You are meant to wet them and then put them on a mid-height shelf to let the aromatherapy do its thing. I found that just leaving them on the floor of my wet room with the shower water running onto them did just as good a job releasing the fragrance. I have a shower chair so am closer to the source than if I were standing, but for me, the amount of fragrance and its strength is perfect. So far I have only tried the Rose and the Eucalyptus ones but they both are stunning. The best thing is that as long as my shower isn't too long, or if I move the steamer out of the water stream they last for at least two showers. So they might seem expensive, but they last longer than bath bombs would.

Lovely lemony scent
Lovely fresh lemon scent with this steamer, although I think perhaps I had a slightly diluted effect as our bathroom is pretty much a wet room with a shower screen so if you have more of a shower cubicle then the scent/effect is likely to be more concentrated. That said it was still a pleasant and invigorating experience, and I look forward to trying the other scents.Easy to follow instructions, and each individual steamer is separately foil wrapped so they remain dry and don't allow moisture in. The tube looks good in the bathroom and as they're nicely presented you could potentially give them as a gift.

Shower steamers
I was really excited to use these as i love pampering relaxing products so i decided to use the Eucalyptus one first whilst having a shower. You just need to get the shower bomb slightly wet by running under water for a few seconds and then place on a high shelf near the shower but not so that it's in running water. The way these work is that steam from the shower releases essential oils from within the bomb for a spa like experience. I was a little disappointed as it wasn't as effective as i expected and didn't really smell the eucalyptus in this unless i put my nose right up to the bomb. I'm not sure if this was because i have a built in bathroom fan in my bathroom which makes it less effective and perhaps if my fan wasn't on it would work more effectively but as i'm unable to turn my fan off i'm unable to find out which is really disappointing and i was expecting so much more from these so on that basis i am only able to give 3 stars.
