a glass came broken

Almost all of the glasses have little black spots of gunk on them. No idea what it is but it came off on my fingers, smeared on the glass, and smeared onto the foam as you may be able to see in the picture. Was already going to knock these down for this since it puts into question what's coming out of their factory, but then I went ahead and tested them further...The bowl and stem portions seem well made and I like the thick glass. They're not ridiculously thick, but durable thick. I wouldn't classify these glasses as delicate. What bothers me is the bottom of the base though. They didn't grind down the bottoms as well as they should have so the glass wobbles on the table (kind of like a top).It's a testament to the fact that they're handblown I suppose, but at the same time I think it's a bit of carelessness to not check flatness on a table. Combined with whatever that gunk was, it's obvious to me that they could use more QC.
