Generation Brass Whistle - Key of Bb

OK I'm writing this literally 5mins after it came through the post and I've only played a few tunes on it but I'm so happy with it that I had to review it which I don't normally do.Postage was first class,i got mine from 1 to1 music and it arrived within 48hrs.Tha build quality is fantastic for the price,its my first generation whistle and it compares very well with my Dixon and Feadog.Those were in D and I had originally intended to buy a low whistle for slow airs but the price and only a few years playing I decided to try first a Bb whistle.Im happy I did as the sound if not that of a low whistle is still lower and more mellow than the D whistles.The grip is only slightly more of a stretch on the D note but not too bad.As I say I've only went through a few tunes and played the scales but it really does sound spot on.

I bought four different Generation whistles in different keys to the more popular D and C whistles. I was surprised at just how good these Generation whistles sound. They all have a clean, rich, pleasing tone. The Bb is the largest whistle I have and the holes are spaced further apart than a D or C whistle. This whistle has a beautiful warm sound, rather like a flute.

Bought this to play the Titanic tune. Safe to say, my family are definitely getting headaches haha
