I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to my Galaxy Buds when I get sick of having something in my ears. My previous Asus headphones worked well, but the muffs were not adjustable and with my big head, they were uncomfortable on my ears approaching an hour or over. With the swiveling ear muffs on the Amazon Basics model, comfort is not an issue. They are smaller, being on ear, but with the adjustability, comfort is not an issue. Charges quickly and holds a charge for quite a while. I'd say the quality is done quite well. Durability would need more time to analyze. I've found the sound quality more than acceptable and they were easy to pair. Controls are simple and minimal.

When my old Logitechs finally gave up the ghost, decided on a wireless headset so I could get away from being physically tethered to my computer. Went with the Amazon Basics brand because those products tend to be good for low price, and these are exactly that. Sound quality is very good considering the low price, they're not Bose but they are much better than my old cheap Logitechs! Game sounds so much more realistic! Headset is pretty light, doesn't hurt the top of my head after six hours (like some others did, my scalp is sensitive to weight). Stays on during normal use, slides a little if you are doing acrobatics in your chair like leaning way forward or way back or falling asleep in your chair. Sound canceling is ok, can still hear through them at about half volume when sound is off, but that's fine for me. I often game with one earphone slightly off my ear anyway so I can hear what the household behind me is doing (pets getting in trouble, husband calling to me, etc). Battery is pretty good, can game for about three days before recharge. Depends on how much you use them. Will definitely make it through a 24 hour gaming session lol. I can go to the kitchen two rooms away to get a coke and still hear sound, though it starts to cut off at that range. Recharge is pretty fast, only needs a couple of hours. Plug plugs in behind the saddle of the right earphone, so you have to rotate the earphone to see the plug. Haven't used mic so can't comment on that; when I tried to use it on a voice chat in discord the stupid program couldn't find my headset, but Discord is CONSTANTLY doing that anyway so it's typical and probably not a problem with the headset itself. Discord is junk. Would recommend, very good headset, should last a good couple of years!

Over all these headphones are excellent for the price. I've used them for a few weeks now, for music and video sound. They're very good overall. Simple, easy to use, comfortable, great, clear sound (not noisy or fuzzy), can pair with 2 devices & has great distance range. I can go 45 ft. from my program source & still listen without problems. Great battery life. Cons: They're weak on bass. It's there, but weak. I can compensate by adjusting my source settings & they sound very good after. Next, I use these for a PC and for a TV at opposite ends of the house. Both devices are relatively new. If I turn the headphones on they capture both devices. I can hear 1 or the other. If I'm listening to the computer I can get that audio, but the sound goes off on the TV as well, which annoys my wife. I looked on line & there were several solutions. For me turning off bluetooth on the device I don't want to capture is quickest & easiest. I'll turn it off when I shut off the device so no one else has to think about it. This isn't a problem for me once I understood what was going on, but may be a problem for others depending on how they're using bluetooth on their devices. Suggestions I read involved uninstalling & reistalling, disabling, etc. Turning off bluetooth is the easiest solution for me. Lastly, the announcements for the headphones are uncomfortably loud, significantly louder than the program material I'm listening to. Adjusting headset volume only affects the program material, not headphone announcements. I also read about this & there doesn't seem to be an adjustment for it. More complicated bluetooth headphones can select devices to listen to & control announcement volume independently from program material, but they're considerably more costly. These work fine for me at an unbeatable price.

This Bluetooth headset paired up so easily with my Moto phone, that I went through the process again just to make sure. Audiobooks work flawlessly, and my go-to album on Amazon Music (Pink Floyd, Dark side of the moon) sounds beautiful. Great low end. I do have tinitis, so if you're a young audiophile with fresh ears, you can do better. The price point is great. I'm going to really enjoy audiobooks and music now. I really recommend these for being good, comfortable, on-ear headphones. Nice and light too. Just don't damage your ears with loud noises. I was a mechanic for thirty years, and I used hearing protection, but it just wasn't good enough back then. I constantly have a 14khz ringing to listen through. Not good. These phones can reach high, possibly too loud levels, just like the rest, so be careful. Don't let concerts, or a loud work environment wreck your ears. You can't get them back. There's your public service announcement for the day. Pick up a set, and enjoy!

Review preliminar (Editado por ultima vez). Llevo años con unos ngs artica patrol que desgraciadamente, perecieron. Entre los modelos que vi para su reemplazo puesto que ya pocos modelos a precio competitivo no ofrecen las características que ofrecían los ngs artica patrol, apareció este de amazon essentials. Puesto que comprando online no puedo testear la calidad de sonido y ya no se hacen con diadema metálica al no ser que te gastes una cantidad ya absurda de dinero, decidí darles una oportunidad debido al precio. Los cascos son de plástico y tengo la sensación de que en cualquier momento se va a partir la diadema por no mencionar que está al máximo de extensión, huelga decir que tengo un cabezón importante, pero es fácil que no sirvan para todas las cabezas, tienen un limite de tamaño demasiado escueto para unos auriculares. La almohadilla para que no duela la diadema es muy fina y se prensa muy fácilmente, Si se es calvo o un corte de pelo muy corto, en poco tiempo se notará duro por que no amortigua nada. Usándolos con gorra ningún problema. He aquí el por que cuestan 20 pavos nada mas. Material de construcción. Calidad de sonido: Es un pelín inferior a los ngs artica patrol. Pero teniendo en cuenta que son inalámbricos, es muy buena para lo que cuestan, siempre que he optado por cascos (con o sin cable) por este precio la calidad suele ser horrenda, pero en este caso ha sido una grata sorpresa. Mientras la fuente del audio sea buena (flac por ejemplo) la calidad de sonido va a ser buena. No he testado los bajos en profundidad puesto que no me agradan unos bajos demasiado fuertes, pero no parecen ser malos, respecto a los agudos, un sonido demasiado agudo puede distorsionar el audio haciendo que sea ruido, pero esa eventualidad la he tenido solo en una canción. La calidad es mucho mejor de lo que esperaba para ese precio. El volumen es muy bueno también, lo suficiente como para que no quiera subir el volumen a tope (demasiado alto para mis oídos). Duración de la batería. (EDITO): Tenían un 50% de carga al recibirlos hace 5 días, en esos 5 días he escuchado música a diario, no he medido el tiempo puesto que pensaba hacerlo una vez agotada la batería y cargado completamente empezar a hacerlo y saber realmente cuanto dura. Pero por fin han bajado a un 40% batería. EDITO: Estoy midiendo los tiempo desde la primera vez que tuve que recargar batería. Van 44 horas de uso y el teléfono dice que queda un 40% de batería. De esas 44 horas, aproximadamente 3 son de idle, cascos encendidos y conectados, pero sin reproducción de música. y aproximadamente otras 2 horas de manos libres en llamada telefónica. El volumen nunca al máximo, al 50% mas o menos. Esto supera con creces las 35 horas de autonomía que dice la descripción. Huelga decir que no se en que se basa esa estimación y/o si mis pruebas son las mas correctas. Editaré la review una ultima vez cuando agote la batería y tenga una duración actualizada. EDITO (por última vez): Tras la medición anteriormente mencionada (que insto en recordar que no se si la hago correctamente o no) el resultado ha sido el siguiente. Desde el 9 agosto hasta el 7 septiembre he escuchado música casi a diario. unas 2 horas de media, nunca el mismo tiempo. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior he contado 48 horas y 27 minutos de duración hasta apagado automático. Lo cual dista mucho de esas 35 horas aseguradas y es completamente brutal! Distancia de conexión. Este es un punto interesante. Depende, obviamente, de la posición del emisor, por ejemplo. El móvil en la mesa del salón sin obstáculos me permite moverme por toda la casa sin que se entrecorte el sonido, sin embargo el PC que está la torre en el suelo un poco encerrada, se corta el sonido cuando me alejo a las habitaciones finales. Depende de muchos mas factores, pero si vas con el teléfono en el bolsillo, salvo interferencia intencionada, ningún problema de conectividad. 5.1: La web mencionaba sonido envolvente para un rico sonido stereo con la tecnología bluetoth 5.1. Hay un poco de info en la contradicción... Sonido envolvente, stereo y 5.1 en la misma frase... Conectando al PC no he visto nada de sonido envolvente o emulación 5.1 así que asumiré que "envolvente" es mala traducción, stereo es lo que tiene y 5.1 la versión de bluetoth. NO soporta sonido envolvente. La descripción da lugar a mal interpretaciones debido a que la descripción en si es mala en esta parte. Multiconexión, permite emparejarse a 2 dispositivos simultáneamente PERO solo reproduce sonido de UNO, es decir, si conectas al PC y al móvil al mismo tiempo y pones música en el movil, NO recibirás sonido del PC, o en otras palabras, el primero que envía señal constante de audio es el que toma el control de los cascos pero sin perder la conexión con el otro dispositivo que asumirá el control en el momento que el primero deje de emitir sonido. Tened en cuenta algo, si estáis conectados a 2 dispositivos, móvil y PC en mis pruebas, y el móvil NO tiene el control, una llamada no usaría los cascos como manos libres, al no ser que durante la llamada especifiques deliberadamente que quieres usar los cascos en el móvil. En ese caso el móvil forzosamente tomará el control y al colgar, el audio pasara automáticamente al PC de nuevo. Manos libres, la calidad del audio en modo manos libres es normal. pero hay un poco de delay. Como medio segundo o un segundo completo si estás a bastante distancia del emisor. Eso hace que interrumpas inconscientemente o te interrumpan a ti. Incluye en la caja cable de recarga (sin cargador) y extenso manual en múltiples idiomas así como guía rápida. En la foto habréis visto que hay como agujero al lado del puerto usb, NO es una entrada jack, el manual lo llama "agujero de sonido acústico". Los cascos son inalámbricos. Nada mas que decir por ahora, editare la review cuando termine de testar todo en unos días.EDITO: Batería añadida, pendiente ultima edición mas adelante con pruebas finales. EDITO: Batería actualizada. Resolución final (Final): Si bien los materiales de construcción no son lo mejor y parece que vaya a romperse la diadema, la calidad de sonido y la conectividad es muy buena para lo que cuesta. Si el plástico aguanta, superaría a la mayoría de cascos que ronden el mismo precio. En calidad de sonido ya los supera. La batería dura una burrada mas de lo anunciado, o mis mediciones son completamente erróneas o esas 35 horas es para no pillarse los dedos ante todos los posibles escenarios y asegurar una duración. En mi caso 48 horas de duración. Las 4 estrellas es por la calidad de construcción, pero tras la sorpresa de la duración de la batería y que el precio es acorde a calidad de construcción, me temo que debo dar las 5 estrellas.
