SPF 8 Mineral Sunscreen - Water Resistant Moisturzing Lotion for Body & Face - Non-Nano Zinc Oxide, Vitamin E - 3 Oz

I live in Hawaii and would definitely recommend this sunscreen. It's great that its reef safe and works well with my skin.This sunscreen works great and I only need to reapply once or twice within a sunny day. I have really sensitive skin and this moisturizes too. I would recommend getting a larger bottle to last longer.Overall, this is a great option. Definitely worth trying for the price.

This sunscreen has a light and smooth texture. It rubs in totally clear, very quickly, actually. Lots of white colored sunscreens take a while to rub in completely but not this one - which is really nice! It does have a fragrance - nothing like the tropical-smelling sunscreens - but if you are looking for fragrance-free, this is not the one for you. I looked at the ingredients and tried to pick out the fragrance I was smelling, but I couldn't figure it out - floral like jasmine, maybe. I wouldn't call it a subtle fragrance, but it also isn't completely overpowering.I wear the lower SPF sunscreens like this one when I'm not going to be out in the sun for an extended period of time. To me, this is an everyday sunscreen. I have used it under and on top of makeup - I only use a CC cream and concealer. I'm middle-aged with lines in the usual places on my face and my skin is combination, leaning toward oily. The texture of the sunscreen leans toward oily rather than creamy, if that makes sense - kind of how solidified coconut oil melts when you put it on your warm skin. I was worried my face would be super shiny - it isn't shiny, and it doesn't feel heavy at all.

This comes out of the tube white but once rubbed in is completely clear. It absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving a sticky or pasty residue. It is low dog so great for every day use when you’re not going to be out in the bright sun for periods of time. There is a light scent so if your sensitive to smells be aware of that. I personally get migraines from string florally scents but this scent did not bother me.

It absorbed well and once rubbed in left no white hue. Since this has a low SPF I used it on an overcast day- a time I still get burned on my face as I am exceptionally fair skinned. It worked well for me and left my skin feeling soft even after I washed it off.I find this ideal for when I'm going on hikes on overcast days, ot when I'm in wooded areas where I don't get a lot of prolonged sun exposure. It didn't feel thick, protected my skin and left it feeling nice afterwards.

Goes on great and good protection

Okay, so this is spf 8 which to me is equal to no sunblock at all. However, I decided to use it. It is February. Surely this could prevent sunburn? Wrong!!! I wore this for several hours at a theme park and my face got roasted thanks to this product. Luckily it did appear to protect my arms. I will not be trusting this sun block again for long outings. Maybe it was foolish to begin with, but it is being used in winter, not the height of summer.Some notes, reapply every 2 hours and the bottle recommends to not use if sweating or in water. This is very light duty stuff and you should’t do what I did. So, three stars because it couldn’t save me in winter.

Absolutely Natural SPF 8 is the kind of stuff I wanted behind the doctor's back. HIgher SPF is always recommended but I need a little sun to make me look alive! This accomplishes just what I want - a little sun going through but not going completely bare and unprotected. This is not your armor for the days at the beach. Rather, on my regular days, I'm barely outside and when I do, I want the sun on my skin without damaging me. I did end up with some dark spots post partum, so I don't like to go bare, and this feels perfect. It goes on smooth and clear, no white cast, and light rosy scent to make me feel good. Made in USA.

I switched to using physical sunscreens, vs. the chemical sunscreens, years ago and to say that I'm a sunscreen junky is an understatement. I am obsessed with sunscreen and use them every day, rain or shine, whether I go out or just staying inside all day.This is a physical sunscreen, and the label says it's SPF 8. It has 4% zinc oxide. I'm surprised that it's only an SPF 8 because I use a sunscreen that has an SPF 50, and it has 4% zinc oxide + 4% titanium dioxide, so it makes me wonder if this has an SPF of greater than 8.I have olive colored skin, so the physical sunscreen makes me look white. This one goes on my skin smoothly, and disappears after very little rubbing. There's absolutely no white cast. It doesn't have that thick, greasy feeling that a lot of sunscreen leaves behind to get all over your clothes and whatever your skin touches. Just a soft, powdery feeling. There is a slight scent to it, for those who are concern about that. That part doesn't bother me at all.Since it's stated that it's an SPF 8, I'll be using this on my legs, which are totally pale after a long winter, and can use a bit of color once the weather warms up. This is such a nice sunscreen that I will be checking if the company has ones that are at a higher SPF for my face.
