Worth every penny! I use it to hold up my portable monitor because the desk is too small to try and fit it with my laptop and so this stand is perfect. It holds my monitor up and saves my desk space. I was at first going to return it because it kept dropping down under the weight of the monitor but just realized that the little hex wrench that comes with it is to tighten the joints. Once I did, the stand is super sturdy and keeps my monitor in whatever position I need it. I can adjust the stand freely and just tighten the joint to keep it standing.Totally recommend! You can’t beat the price and the product works well!

Fits nice on my headboard, keeps out of the way when needed, strong, swivels nicely, now we have one on each side of bed

works great for galaxy note Galaxy Tab S6... I wish that the joint tensions were on thumb screws or something instead of requiringer the hex key, otherwise tho, its a good stand.

I'm very pleased and impressed with this adjustable tablet stand. It is nicely made and I like the well designed way the arms are connected to each other. It easily allowed me to make a modification by removing one of the extensions (I'll save it for potential future use) to better fit the location I wanted for my tablet. I definitely give this holder two thumbs up!!

I bought this to use to hold an 11 inch monitor on my work area. It works well. My only complaint is that you have to use the tool to tighten it, so getting it positioned and all of the bend points would be difficult for 1 person. Luckily my son helped me. It holds the monitor's weight well. I am using a cheap portable monitor I bought from Amazon, so no idea how much it weights, but I would guess its about the weight as a similar sized tablet.

I will first say that the concept is decent, the intentions were good, the materials are metal and of decent quality.I bought this thing to hold my tablet while camping out of the back of my truck. The very 1st time setting it up, this thing just failed. Yes, it was able to support the weight of a galaxy tablet, for a few minutes anyway. The main problem was the clamp part...not the clamp that holds the tablet, I'm talking about the clamp that clamps to the table/surface. On both surfaces that are supposed to grab whatever you're clamping to, there are rubber undersides, intended to give a better grip. The issue was, these rubber grips were just stickers, and while holding the weight of this arm and my tablet off the ground, the stickers eventually started sliding off the surface they were supposed to be adhered to. This led the entire arm to eventually let go and fall over. I tried re-sticking the rubber grips/stickers back in place, and tried clamping to several different (sturdy) surfaces, only to have the same thing happen again. So, after about 30 mins of messing with this thing, I tossed it to the side and propped my tablet up against a little carry case I had handy.So, for me, this thing was not effective. In my mind, I would have had a better experience if I'd just flushed $40 down the turrlet. At least I wouldn't have wasted any time in that case. Adjustability was also less than ideal, it doesn't bend in directions you'd hope/expect it to, but given the way it's built, it can't do 360° rotation. It isn't terribly large, but is awkwardly shaped when folded up, and doesn't really fit into any sort of easy-carry scenario. For me, for what I was expecting and hoping for out of this thing, I am disappointed. Wasted money. Maybe I will find a use for it down the road, I don't know. Maybe I just got a really crappy one. Might try some superglue on the stickers, but right now it's just a big ugly useless paperweight. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Update: Well, this is disappointing because I otherwise love this stand for my portable monitor. But after just a bit over 4 months, one of the "screws" that locks it into place with the included allen wrench is stripped. Clearly the metal used in them is too soft. You have to keep these tight to prevent movement. But then loosening them again can strip them. There will be some dropping over time that needs adjustment, so you'll definitely need to loosen them to fix that. A second is also starting to strip. So now my monitor can't be positioned properly and is harder to use for work and studying. It's a real shame because this is otherwise so much better than the gooseneck varieties and the clunky ones with springs. Lowered my rating due to the short lifespan and no clear way to get replacement parts (or even remove the stripped ones for replacement).--Original:I picked this because it looked like the positioning might let me keep items lower than similar arms do. And it seems to be OK for that, with a sturdy metal frame.The biggest problem is the clasp piece that holds your portable monitor or tablet. Mine is a little under 16in, and this barely gets around it. The depth also falls on the shallow side, meaning my portable monitor would start to slip out on the bottom. I didn't feel at all secure using it.I happened to already have a better clasp part here, and it's a 1/4 threaded one, so it should work great with this. But after finally figuring out how to detach the ball part, there was another issue (after removing the screw, you have to jostle the red bit pretty hard, then poke through it with the long end of the allen wrench to get the first side out before pushing out the second).It seems the 1/4in threads don't quite get deep enough into some of my attachments. This means it rotates almost freely, and if you don't have the weight perfectly balanced (tough if you have power cords on a monitor, a mic that naturally won't lay in a perfectly balanced way, a non-symmetrical camera, etc.) then the item you're trying to attach falls to one side.--Update: My wife was eventually able to force the threaded attachment just tight enough that the monitor will mostly stay still, as long as it's not bumped. So I upped it to 4 stars. If improvements are ever made, the areas to fix would be:1. Letting the clasp piece open a bit more. Right now it's too tight to safely use with a lightweight 15.6" monitor even if advertised to hold up to a 16" in one. We were fortunate to have another clasp that holds things more safely.2. Add some depth to the clasp ledges. Portable monitors can be a little thicker than most tablets, and this would be perfect with a better clasp that could hold them safely without slipping out.3. The threaded hole is just slightly too shallow to hold some things in a stable way without them rotating or tipping over. You'll really have to force attachments in there, and even then it's looser than it should be. Not really safe for things like cameras.The arm itself though is great. It's not coming loose. It's easy to control the positioning. Honestly, the only way it would be better is if the screws had little wing-nut faces or something so you could tighten them by hand without needing the separate hex key / allen wrench (which is small, so you do risk losing it).Overall, it's a good stand. If you have something smaller than 15.6" and you're happy with the ball joint end and the included clasp, you shouldn't have any of the issues we saw.
