Electric Bass Case Violin Shaped Black

Excellent value for money. My hofner Ignition bass fit perfectly. Anyone thats womdering.... They fixed the issue of the neck support being mounted too high. It was a perfect fit out of the box with no need for alterations. My bass was cradled snugly, safely, and properly in the case. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a viola type "Beatle Bass".

This case is perfect for my son's Rogue bass. And when it's safe to go out into the world again, he'll be all set for taking his bass safely to and from lessons.

I bought this case for my Hofner 500/1 violin bass. It came with a strange foam wedge placed (under the black cloth material) where the upper end of the bass body rests in the case. I removed it and the bass now fits better in the case. The case still doesn't quite close; I am hoping the padding will settle around the bass and the case will eventually close properly.No idea how a wedge would be useful. Now to glue the cloth back in place...

Musician's Gear Electric Bass Case Violin Shaped (Black) Item model number: SO-069-MC20VB/// this case was excellent for the $$$$$!! when i ask to return the case because the violin base would not fit into the case & have the top close the seller said to keep the case & that they would refund the cost to my account, this is a BIG THANK YOU!!!! you would think that they would make the case/neck brace support to fit all violin basses when it is a recommended purchase when you purchase the violin bass .. but to fit the violin base the 'neck brace' had to be removed and modified so the neck would fit into the case. Like some of the other reviews = remove the four (4) screws on each side then pry out the Styrofoam block with wood stiffeners on the sides that have been stapled in (cut the long staple brads @ the body when you have the block out), cut to fit and replace the screws so the neck brace will not twist.

Yes, it fit my Epiphone Viola bass perfectly. Slides right in and snugly. Did not do any mods to get it to fit. Bass does not move around inside the case at all. Great case for the price!

I have bought cases online before and have had to return them because the quality was so poor. This case, however, was very well made. I am very pleasantly surprised. Rock On!

Much nicer than I expected. I need another case (actually four of them) and won’t hesitate to buy Musician’s Gear again. Great bang for the buck.

Umm... unless this is meant for some other violin shaped bass than the Hofner Beatle bass, it's a total ripoff. The case won't close with the guitar in. Total scam since they're obviously selling it for the Hofner bass. Or is there another bass this is made for?
