Easy to install, stable light dimmer. Awesome!
Update: I actually bought 3 of these switches and now less than 4 years later one of them with very low usage died / stopped working out of nowhere. This switch was in a spare room not used often and died. The other two are used frequently and still working but this was still disappointing.I ended up buying this dimmer switch twice because I like it so much. Easy to install, decent price, and stable dimming (no flickering). You don’t even need to get a new face plate if you are replacing a standard light switch, it is the same size. Easiest dimmer you can possibly install.I first bought this dimmer to replace an existing one at the home I moved into. The existing one had a broken dimmer slider and I wasn’t able to dim the lights properly. Replacement was easy. This dimmer was actually going into a setup where the lights can be turned on/off from three locations. It seemed like this might not work in that scenario based on what I read, but it did work fine for me.Then I recently bought another of these dimmer switches. This was a more straight forward install since it was for a single pole application (only one source to turn on/off the lights), but either way it is super easy to install. In this case, the dimmer has been installed in my office room. This is where I work on the computer for long hours (covid) and where I do some video gaming. My existing four in-ceiling lights only had one brightness setting best described as “meet the sun god” which was too extreme for me most of the time. With the dimmer installed I’m now able to get a very dim (and stable, no flicker) light in the room better suited for my screen use or an even brighter than before “atom bomb” setting if I want to. To get the bulbs as dim as I wanted to, I did have to adjust the dimmer setting before putting the light switch panel back on. This is an easy trial and error of nudging the lever one way or another and checking how it impacts the dimming. In my case I put it all the way to the left (toward “-“) and got pretty good results.

Perfect fit
Easy to install. Easy to replace existing switch. Works as described with no problems. Used to control a string of LED lights. Able to control the brightness of the lights exactly as I prefer at the moment. Best of all my wife loves it. 😁

Review of Lutron TGCL-153P-WH-2 --- Yes, These Work Perfectly for Dimmable LED bulbs!
I specified the product model number in the title, but I include it here too so that the review doesn't find its way to another product, as I have sometimes found in reviews. So, this is for the Lutron TGCL-153P-WH-2 single pole/3-way dimmers, in a white toggle style switch two-pack. I struggled with the conflicting information in so many reviews that I read which made me concerned about buying one and ending up having flicker when dimming my LED bulbs. My first attempt was a purchase I made at Costco of a different Lutron dimmer, which required a neutral wire to function, but my light switches didn't use a neutral wire so back it went. Searching the reviews long and hard led me to one comment that suggested the 153P family of switches work without flicker. So I took a chance on these. They fit right in with the same simple two-wire hook-up, plus ground, of the old switch, and use the same switch plate cover. So, I took a chance and bought them. To install it I turned off the breaker, removed the old switch, and installed the dimmer. Then I turned on the breaker, crossed my fingers, and turned on the switch. It turned on fine, so I adjusted the brightness, while hoping for flicker-free success. It worked perfectly from lowest brightness to full brightness with zero flicker at all settings! My wife is happy which means I'm happy. Therefore, I can fully recommend these dimmers. And I hope this review saves you the hassle I went through trying to find a dimmer for LED bulbs that works without flicker. Just be certain that you have LED bulbs that are dimmable. I suspect many negative reviews are because their LED bulbs were not dimmable. The other dimmer switches in the 153P family, such as the rocker style switch, should also work perfectly, since the internals are the same. Best of luck and I hope my review helps!

... wanted the dimming ones cause hey it adds a nice bit of atmosphere
So I decided to go ahead an invest in LED bulbs for my living room and wanted the dimming ones cause hey it adds a nice bit of atmosphere. Now I install them and realize that the old dimmers I have installed in my house just did not do that good of a job with my new LED's. They would cause flickering and just would not have a large dimming range. So I found lutron and bought this one since the design was replacing an old one and I did not want to deviate and buy a new face-plate for three switches. After install and turning that black dial I like how I can dim the lights to almost as bright as a small candle to then have it as bright as a possible. The install was quick, you twist the included green wire to the ground and you can either shove in the hot and neutral to the switch or you can connect to the little legs they have. I would suggest this product to anyone that may not know how old their dimmer is and is upgrading their lights to LED's that dim. Now you can get whatever toggle you want but just a dimmer switch that works with LED's.

High quality switch, great price on amazon
Purchased this switch to replace an older, non-led compatible dimmer switch. Ever since we upgraded our dining room chandelier to LED bulbs we’ve experienced LED flickering due to the old dimmer switch. This is a great quality switch, well constructed, and solid in all aspects. Install was easy as per a standard switch replacement. I like and prefer the design as the dimmer adjustment aspect is a separate little slider and not part of the on/off toggle, in my opinion this is superior to the switches where the toggle acts as both the activator and dimmer.

Worked great with no adjustments required on dimming range
Works great out of the box. Needed no adjustment of dimming range for a wide range of dimmer capability on the 2 GU10 LED light fixtures that I installed. Both fixtures had 3 LED GU10/50w equivalent dimmable bulbs.

They work well with my bulbs.
I have installed 2 out of the 3 switches, one as a single pole and the other as a 3 way. They work well with my LED bulbs which are listed as compatible.
