Don’t buy
This was the worst purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. The machine broke in less than a year. I tried working with the company and their customer service was HORRIBLE! Don’t buy this product.

Read this, it might help.
I bought this product for its compact size. It fits in my basement gym perfectly. It serves its purpose in my gym. Other people with more room for a full size machine may want to opt for that. Before I ordered mine and before it came I read all the reviews. My guess 90% said how difficult it is to assemble. People with vast knowledge of things mechanicical and have experience assembling items similar to this will have no problems. For the first timer it's going to be tough for sure.My suggestions are get yourself the following in metric: socket and ratchet set, open end/box wrenches, slip joint pliers, adjustable wrench, and good Allen keys. Get a tube or tub of grease to lube every pivot, it'll make unit smoother.Study the instructions the night before like you were studying for a test. Study each piece matching the letters and numbers to the photos. Get yourself familiar for what you are about to do. Visualize assembly.Steps 1-3 main frame assembly. Do not Tighten bolts the whole way. They need to be slightly loose to for step 4 to 15. There needs to be slight give to install all the other pieces. In the diagram of step 3 there is a m10x70 bolt that appears to float next to one of the mounting points to the deck plate. That bolt goes underneath through a hidden hole and ties frame B and C together. You may need to flip on side to see it.The grease is for all the pivots, sleeves and some of the bearings. Other bearings come with a grease fitting. Now when you continue to step 11 and before you install part V, the deck plate now is the time to tighten everything.Part P the heim joint turnbuckle synchro you will need to fine tune the centering of the leg frames. One side is standard thread. The other is reverse. The bearings G with the grease fitting they have a Allen set screw. You will need to back them out slightly to get them to fit over the pivots on leg frames H and I. Upper and lower. Also the Allen set screws face up. Tighten the set screws snug after you're finished with step 15.Like I mentioned before, grease all the pivoting points.Hope this helps.

Not the best but It will do… update
I disliked the instructions. They could have been better along with the bolts actually numbered. It was rough putting it together, due to poor Instructions. Also the box came damaged and ALL the cushions damaged and squished to point where it’s not a ‘cushion’ of support. The cushions for the legs are not long enough and barely provide any support. Then there’s the squeaking when weight is being lifted. Then there are the pulleys, there is nothing stopping them from slipping off the wheel. I’m not impressed with this machine at all. Value for money: not great 😌 I feel it cost too much for these issues.Broke as soon as I tried putting more weight on it. Less than half of the weight it said it would hold. Sent back.

To build this you must ready for a horrible experience
So I would not recommend this machine as of now.2 hours in, my son and I are on step 4!!! Thankfully another review said the bearings Need to be adjusted to fit. With the amount of time this is going to take I could have bought something way nicer if I’d picked up an extra shift!I will update with how long it takes once we have it built. But as of now, this build is a nightmare.Thankfully my son and I know how to work together on difficult build. If you are planning on building with another human, be warn if y'all argue easily, this build is not for y’all!!Haha no joke, okay so we have put step 4 on backwards. I’m done, this is horrible

Required adjustment, but works great.
Assembling requires some effort. If you are not mechanical inclined and think you're going to assemble this with the tools provided....you will have an awful experience. Get a ratchet and it goes alot smoother. It also helped alot to leave things a bit loose and then tighten them once all the parts were in place. I had a painful time aligning the bearings but that ultimately ended up being the trick. Other than assembly, we have been using the machine for 4 months now without any issues.

Bearings
For the bearings to go in smoothly, You have to unscrew these (screws in the picture circled in red) With the appropriate tool or your fingernail.
