Simply Brilliant !
Having read Alan Shipnuck’s book on that egomaniac named Phil, there as no way I wouldn’t be reading ‘LIV And Let Die’. Simply a brilliant read for anyone who loves golf and has an interest in its history and the European and USA tours. It reasonably fairly straddles the fence on the issues resulting from the birth of LIV. A recommended read for sure.

Great Read
Fantastic insight into the politics of both tours.Balanced opinion on how both organisations are run and the difficulties they face going forward.Interesting side stories on the characters who make up these tours.

LIV and Let Die
Great detailed research about the subject !

Disappointing
All fluff, nothing new. A superficial analysis of international human rights law, anti-trust law, geopolitics, business strategy. It will sell loads, but does not move the needle in any thoughtful way.

Liv and let die
Awesome book that gives a great perspective of the PGA tour and its response to LIV golf. The author didn’t hold back his criticism or blame on both sides. A great contrast of what you’ve read in the papers and what is reality. I have a friend who’s mentioned in the book and he said, it’s all true.

Intriguing and borderline overwhelming
I am a big fan of Shipnuck, so maybe a little bias….. but if you want to know the WHOLE history of LIV you’ve come to the right place. Since this is so comprehensive on a subject with many characters to follow and a ton of angles and perspectives, my brain came close to overload. Not a quick or simple or amusing read, but a well balanced documentary and analysis.

A good summary
As a golf junky, this is a fun read for sure. If you've followed this story closely, however, there isn't much new here. It's generally an accounting of the last couple years of changes, with some great background context. As we've seen post-publication, the saga continues. In a couple more years, a sequel or extended version would likely make a lot of sense. This is a summary of the first chapeters of a story that continues to change at pace.

a tremendous book
I was not blown away by Mr. Shipnuck’s last book and considered not reading this book. Thankfully I did. What a tremendous achievement. The author has laid out in great detail the complete story of Liv. This is quite simply the best golf book ever written and one of the best books in recent memory of any genre. Thank you for a job well done!
