I was so excited for the lights and Lumary never disappoints me. Their range of smart products are a charm. These smart recessed lights are easy to install. These lights are smart having 2 color modes which is white and the RGB. Both lights can be switched on simultaneously unlike their previous version. I love the different effects you can set within the app. I love it and recommend it to add beauty to your room/space.

Put them in the kids room to see how well they'd work.. I'll be buying them for the whole house.. impressed

The product is sleek and small and can fit small places. However brightness is not that good which I realized only after installation and had no patience to bring it down. The best part is it is directly wired and could be controlled through your phone or Alexa and a wall switch is not required

The media could not be loaded.  The Lumary lights worked great. Lots of lighting and lots of features especially through the Lumary app. Works with Alexa. Super happy how they turned out. The added night light / accent light is a great feature. You can really set the mood. They worked out great!

I have several of these style lights and this one is the most expensive. It is also the best one I have, so its hard to say if the extra cost is worth it or not. The kids like to play with the color, and they are the ones that figured out how to connect it to all that. It is flexible with all the settings, and If an 11 year old can figure it out I'm thinking its user friendly enough on that end. As far as install, its very easy. The springs are stiff and hold it nice and tight for a professional flush mount and it looks great. Throws off plenty of light and its a winner. I probably prefer the standard, much cheaper, white only lights as they are much cheaper and serve their purpose well for a much more reasonable investment, but this has so much cool factor. The kids absolutely love this to jazz it up and the quality is there to justify the price. If you had a whole room full of these it'd be an awesome look and you'd have lots of options for the ambiance to suit your taste on any given day.

I installed this where an old light fixture once was and the paint wasn't up to date where the old fixture came down and the ceiling wasn't perfectly smooth either. I wanted to show this in the pictures because this light has a nightlight feature (ring of light around the top) and it will really show the imperfections on the surface! Imagine shining a flashlight right up against your ceiling, that is what you will see. So just be aware if your ceiling is not perfect, that feature might show the imperfections.Having said that, this light is great. You have control to have the night light and/or the downlight on in any color or warmth. The light will remember what setting you had if you want to use a switch to turn it on and off. Super bright yet dimmable if you need to. It makes the space fun and versatile. Easy recommendation that will make you happy when you use it!

Pros:very bright for its size. I'm running it at 39% and it's about the same as the 60W LED bulb it replacedquick setup once I used the AP mode (app gives you three setup options)works well with GoogleFades on and off, which feels classyCons:independent control of the RGB halo is only fully supported in it's own app; Google Home doesn't let you turn the white light off while leaving the halo onrequires its own app, which means I have to have another account and another appsetup via Bluetooth (the default in its app) would not work on my Samsung S23 Ultra. It kept prompting me to turn on Bluetooth, which was on, and I had given it precise location permission. Must be a bug in the app. "Easy" mode didn't work either, so I finally went with AP mode.ALSO if it's waiting to be set up and you don't get it connecting (say, because Bluetooth setup is bugged in the app) it gives up about 30 or 45 seconds and you have to turn it on and off again a few times to reset it. This was pretty frustrating, and it probably ended up take 5+ minutes to set up due to having to reset the light and restart the setup process in the app and have it find it before it quit and just went to solid 100% daylight white.Other thoughts:make sure the size and format is what you need. I didn't measure, and the recessed light I was replacing with this was a 6". I ended up designing and printing a trim ring in PLA, which worked fine, it is responsible for the shadow you can see in the halo-only picture. I'm sure the sell a 6" version, also. This kind of light also comes in direct wire, like this, and retrofit formats, where you have an Edison screw connector and the power supply is in the light rather than a separate box.
