This is a very nice bright white 4 switch cover plate. It is metal and does not appear "paintable" although it is advertised to be. My reason for return is that it is not "maxi" or jumbo as the ad implies. It is actually smaller than the mid-size and standard size plate covers. It is useless to me as it would not even come close to what I needed.

This is a metal wall plate that is exactly what I needed... the original plastic one broke because it was basically holding the switch box in place in the wall - and it is the original box installed in new construction by the builder only 15 years ago.. now this is doing the job well and is so sturdy..

I like the color and ease of install, I do not like the size, but there was not a large plate listed for sale.

Replaced a broken plastic one that was an eyesore.

It was really impressive: it was actually paint-resistant. Paint streaked and beaded up on the surface. I wasn't going to try scuffing it since that might have made it unreturnable. It would be really nice if amazon searches started to actually show you items you asked for rather than ones it's trying to sell you.What a great concept: get what you want as opposed to what they want you to buy.

Not oversize. Can get these same ones at Home Depot for $1.50. I needed oversize ones. Beware if you are looking for large covers.
