Q: Do these have felt or rubber pads ?

No padding at all just polished metal. I have them on a vinyl floor and they work great.

Q: do these reduce the amount the sound will vibrate the floor? I live in a townhome and would like to get these to reduce sound carrying.

Sorry , but I only purchased the discs to protect my wooden floors from the speaker stand spikes . I suppose that with heavy enough speaker stands there won't be much transmission sound to the floor . Good luck .

Q: Might use for granite slab from counter top store for turntable iso. anyone have experience with this? supposedly loctite pl530 works for granite.

I had problems with the metal plating on the flat surface that attached to the speaker bottom. The actual metal plating - the "finish" - bubbled up and partially detached from the base metal of the spike. Whether Loctite, super glue, epoxy, or whatever is used, if the spike plating material becomes loose or detached, it will simply fall off. I sent mine back. If pure stainless steel with NO plating material (to make it shiny??) then this should work and you would be okay. Mine had a shiny brass finish with a darker material on the flat piece to be attached. This is what peeled off.

Q: Is this suitable for the polk psw505 sub woofer at 56lbs?

Hi I'm using them on Def Techs with normal spikes and they work great. My speakers are probably at least that weight or more so it should work and they were pretty inexpensive too.
