EMEET C950 1080P Webcam, USB Webcam with Microphone&Physical Privacy Cover

I got this camera for school. It’s got really good quality sound a good microphone and decent video quality. It’s not big and clunky. It’s a good size so it’s of out the way. I have a MacBook and all it needs is an extra plug to use but it works. Easy to set up as soon as you plug it in.

I just connected this to my PC and played around with the settings in the software available on their website, and I'm very pleased with it for the price. It's a decent camera that looks fine. The angle of the shot is good in my opinion, and the ability to change brightness and contrast among other things is great- Though I'm not sure how common that is as this is my first time buying and using a webcam. A few things to note. If your monitor has a very thin bezel around the screen, the edge of the camera will cover a small part of the screen, though not enough to impugn you. It comes with a little plastic cover you can adhere to the camera yourself for privacy, which I did. The USB cable is a fine length, though it could stand to be a little longer... My main issue with this camera that I knew was inevitable is that the way the holder is designed is incompatible with any monitor that isn't a flat rectangle. That is- If your monitor is like mine (HP OMEN 23.8"), and has a back that has round curves to it, the back of the camera holder won't be able to securely latch onto anything and just sit on the top of your monitor freely instead. In my case that's not detrimental as the top of my monitor is fairly thick so it's not perpetually at risk of falling over, though if I need to change the angle or use the privacy cover it moves around some. It's not enough of an issue for me to knock a star from my review as I knew this going into it, but still something to mind before buying. With all of that said, it's hard to beat that attractive price tag... If you have more to spend, EMEET has a 4K version of this camera that also has autofocus which is a nice addition. I don't mind the lack of that as I'm using this camera casually and don't care for anything fancy. Since I just got this however I can't speak to its longevity, so I'll update on that if something ever comes up.

So far so good. Easy set up but needs to be plugged into the fastest speed usb port on your computer if you dont it wont connect or cut in and out, but it us plug and play with linux and decent video quality. Mic seems low quality but who on earth doesn't buy a mic if they are actually using it to talk. For 17 bucks definitely worth the shot.

Nice quality video, and comes with a little privacy slide you can stick on it to cover the camera when not in active use, wish it was built-in but whatever; still convenient. The audio I think is also pretty good considering it's a web camera.

This is a fine camera. It’s super cheap to buy but the actual item is great! It records both video and audio but you have the option to turn of each of those which is what I personally did, I only use the camera not the mic. For the cheap price this surprisingly records well and looks high quality. You have the option to change the color of the camera lighting so it works with any environment. Its small and easy to put in your computer it’s just the perfect budget cam

Saw a lot of good YouTube videos on this camera, and I agree it's great for the price but man the low light performance is really bad. At some points I thought it was off!

Weird set up, but it works. The instructions say to download their software to use, but I didn't want to do that. Couldn't figure out how to get it to work at first. But then went in to MS Teams settings and was able to change from the default pc built in camera to the Emeet Webcam. Can't change the settings or anything from my pc settings, only from within the applications where you can manually select this webcam. I'm only using it for Teams and zoom calls, and seems to work fine for both. I use a headset for audio, so don't have any comments on the sound quality. It sits on top of my monitor just fine. Would like it to be more secure, but for this price I'll probably rig something up to make it more attached.

Only thing this webcam is lacking is auto-focus. The video quality and colors are excellent considering the price and wins over the competitors that are twice as expensive. Good option if you want to upgrade the inbuilt camera of your laptop at lowest possible price. Its plug and play and has support for customization and adjustment with companion software. Sound quality is nothing to brag about. Only sign its a cheap device is its plastic build and lack of auto focus.
