Do not buy this brand
As soon as I opened the package I knew it was gonna be low quality. Super dusty with lots of pointy strands. Felt like I was trying to hydrate fiberglass. The coir doesn't absorb water all that great, the consistency is absolutely horrible as for some reason the coir makes small little balls of "soil", like loose rabbit poop - which is a terrible consistency for planting seeds. I would return this if I could. I am trying 4 cells of seedlings with this and thats it - the rest is going into the compost pile. Go with another brand (burpees) - it expands much better and the consistency stays loose and light which is what you want for seedlings.

This stuff is awesome! If you’re looking for something to help make your houseplant soil super chunky, definitely buy this! I’ll buy this again and again over miracle grow any day!

There's a lot of medium that comes when you bloom this block
I bought this product to replant some of my tropical plants: Monastera and orchids. I bought three blocks which was more than enough to mix with the soil. I would buy this product again

Not good- poor quality
Purchased to create diy seed starting soil. Product decompressed with water quickly, but is sooo full of huge chunks that it is t suitable for planting. I’m not really sure what a good use for this would be? Possible soil amendment in an actual garden? Definitely not suitable for seed starting. It’s more like the large bags of mulch you get for $2.00 at Lowe’s. Extremely course. Even mixed with vermiculite, etc.- the quality of this makes it impossible to use. Super disappointing, but too late to send back. I now have another 5 blocks of this garbage that I don’t know what to do with. Huge waste of $$. Should have just purchased peat moss.
