This is a great book to throw in your bag and take with you. Gives a good overview of the island by region along with hotel and restaurant recs.

Love island. Great travel book. Pretty up to date information.

This product was difficult to follow. We took the driving tour of the Northern part of the island, and got lost several times as the directions were less than spectacular.

Lonely Planet has some of the best travel books out there! So much detail. Books arrived on time and in perfect condition.

In short, excellent.There's a lot of very useful information here for the money, featuring some great detail on each of the islands main towns and villages.The featured walking routes and driving routes were well used on our recent holiday to Mallorca and I must say that without this book we simply wouldn't have had as good a time as we did. The driving route along the Serra de Tramuntana that was featured in the book was simply stunning and the recommended stops (too many to mention, but include Valldemossa, Soller and Sa Colabra) were breathtaking.Great information also about local customs, culture and food delicacies along with some excellent recommendations for restaurants, cafes and bakeries (most of which we tried and we're delighted with).Particularly interesting was the quite comprehensive section at the back of this book that really set the scene. There a quite detailed history of the island, together with information about its current demographics and cultures. It's a great way of getting an overview of the place before you arrive and we found it fascinating. However, if you're not into that sort of thing, this book still offers invaluable information to make your holiday amazing - whether you're a solo traveller, couple or family.Bon Voyage!

It was very nice, I would only sugest one thing for next upgrade, and it would be that they got the areas mixed up.Apart from that it was very nice.
