I am a 25-year-old female (daughter of "DadofThree"). I've owned and used this watercolor set for 3+ years.I have a few travel watercolor sets like this, but the color selection and ease-of-use of this one makes it my favorite. I use a different aquarelle watercolor brush from the one included in this kit, so I can't speak to its quality. I always use the built-in palette.This would make an awesome gift for a loved one who wants to do art while traveling or would like to try watercolor for the first time. A great kit to bring along for quick urban sketching. Lightweight and compact. I love the water brush, it's a pleasure to handle for small area washes as well as details - I don't need to bring any other brushes with me, just the waterbrush in the kit! The set has all the essential colors, not having to mixing a lot which is a big plus when you're on the go. The colors are smooth, and a tiny dip of color goes a long way. I have no perspective as to how it performs compared to artist grade watercolors, but personally I love it! It certainly gives me the opportunity to try out doing ink and watercolor sketches without breaking the bank. As other reviewers have mentioned, the color blocks may drop out of the pan. One of mine came out, I just put it back with a little mounting putty at the bottom - it'll take me a long time to get to the bottom of that block of color!

Learning watercolors, I bought this for an online class. WOW so bright and gorgeous! I love the mixing palette included. I definitely recommend!

Just got mine. The design is great, but you have to turn the top counter-clockwise to get it on. Exactly the opposite of what you would do to tighten a screw or a nut.

This is my second time purchasing this kit and it doesn't disappoint. They're more student quality but great for practicing techniques without breaking the bank. I don't use the brush that's included so I can't say anything about the quality, etc. If you're looking to try watercolors but don't want to spend too much, I highly recommend this set

I'm new to watercolors, and this set has been so easy to use as I explore the medium.

This is my first watercolor set as an adult, outside of art school. I wanted something portable, of good value and quality, and affordable.I looked at the number of colors in the set, the accessories and the containers they came in for a few different brands and at several stores. This set has the best bang for my buck.It's also a better deal here than the three big stores I checked at for similar items (Mike's Wally's & 🎯).

Acho que a tinta veio vencida parece guache, seca rápido e não dissolve novamente com água se quiser sobrepor outra tinta. Parece tinta acrílica ou guache. Devolvi.

J'ai acheté ce matériel de peinture car dans cette petite boite bien jolie, y est concentré tout ce dont on a besoin pour faire des aquarelles, pas de problèmes pour la ranger.Je n'ai que des points positifs, ex : belles couleurs, pratique à emmener avec soi, je la recommande, j'en suis très satisfaite.

Excellent rapport qualité / prix. L'emballage intérieur de la palette était abîmé, heureusement sans dommage pour la palette.
