Its quality is exceptional, with smooth-gliding zippers that don't get stuck or require any break-in period. Plus, the chrome-plated zipper handles stand out nicely against the black bag and add a touch of elegance.While it's designed as more of an overnight bag than a dedicated laptop carrier, it does come with inner straps reminiscent of a suitcase to secure your belongings. I can envision using it for travel, especially for business trips lasting one to three days. Interestingly, it complements my existing garment bag, which is an added bonus.What truly sets this backpack apart is its versatility. I got this backpack because my old one is starting to get holes in it. It's a very, very nice backpack, and would be great for school or travel!AESTHETIC/QUALITY: The backpack looks very cool and is well-made. It seems very sturdy and made of high quality synthetic fabrics. It seems properly stitched.PADDING: I like that the backpack is heavily padded in the back, should straps, and handle. It should make hauling a heavy load more comfortable.SMALL SECURE POCKET: There's a small zippered pocket on the back of the backpack that is very secure (your back will cover it as you wear the backpack). The pocket would be perfect for a passport, some cash, or other little stuff that you wouldn't want stolen or lost.TRAVEL COMPARTMENT W/ USB FOR PORTABLE CHARGER: There's a travel-oriented compartment that has straps and a large zippered pocket - perfect to hold in a couple folded outfits and some underwear and socks. (See photo) This compartment also has a USB connection that you can plug into a portable charger; the other end of the wire comes out of the backpack so that you can charge stuff on-the-go.LAPTOP POCKET: It has a nice padded laptop pocket - I know this is fairly common now, but it's nice to have a designated secure spot for a laptop.WATER BOTTLE POCKETS: There is a pocket on each side of the backpack that can hold a water bottle. See my photo - my water bottle *just* barely fit in that pocket (it almost didn't).BENT: The backpack arrived folded in two, and now it is slightly bent and I haven't been able to get it un-bent (see photo). I'm a little worried that the folding somehow damaged or re-shaped the support structure of the backpack. I'll have to come back to edit this later if the bend doesn't go away over time and use.Overall, I'd highly recommend this backpack!

Very happy with this backpack. You know it's a great backpack when your son asks you if he can have it as an upgrade from his fancy, name-brand pack!This backpack has all the features travelers might need. It is roomy, but not too large. I tried to show an accurate depiction of its size by including my hand in one of the pics. It holds a lot of items making it perfect for someone who travels a lot. Excellent size for airplane travel. However, it is also a good fit for a student. It holds a lot of school supplies including books and a laptop. It also has a charging port which will come in very handy.The bag itself looks great: sleek and stylish. My favorite part is the number of compartments it has. When travel, I like to stay organized. This backpack fits that requirement as it has plenty of zipper compartments to separate the many items I would travel with. The inside straps are a nice bonus feature to keep larger items (like clothing) in place and secure.It is also that it is water-resistant. Please remember, this is NOT WATERPROOF. There is a difference between water-resistant and water proof. So this pack will resist water if exposed to the rain but I would not subject it to torrential downpours or submerge it in water.Lastly, the pack is comfortable to wear. It has a cushioned back that is ample, but nothing out-of-this-world in terms of comfort. Simply put, it gets the job done.
