Great bowl that really is microwavable. Lid completely seals too.
This is a great bowl. If you're looking for an unbreakable bowl; that is microwavable, this is it. The lid completely seals, I filled the bowl 3/4 full with water, put the lid on with the vent closed and turn the bowl upside down. Not a drop came out. The lid is fairly secure but does not latch on. I did run a test in the microwave. I placed 2 cups of water in this bowl, 2 cups in a corningware bowl which was very close in size and shape and lastly 2 cups in a Pyrex measuring cup. Microwaved each alone for 3 1/2 minutes. This bowl came out at 145°, while the other two both came out at 175°. The only caution is this bowl is just the metal, so the bowl itself gets as hot as the contents. Need a bowl for a construction worker's lunch, this is it.

Works in the mirowave
This is a sturdy food container that doesn't leak at all. I love that it works in the microwave, although it does take slightly longer to heat food up compared to a plastic container but that's not an issue for me. Dishwasher safe, there is nothing I can pick fault with. I would recommend

Sturdy Construction, but useless in a microwave
When this bowl first arrived I was impressed with the build quality. It might be microwavable, but the container become a lot hotter then the food inside. Won't be using in the microwave again.
