This is not peel and stick, but it is excellent.
The item description is wrong, this is not peel-and-stick. It is PSA, pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is slightly tacky and easy to work with, then apply pressure to set the adhesive. So far, no failures. Vaneer grain quality was excellent and similar to the picture. Very pretty product and very easy to use. Shame about the poor item description.

Its flexible, smooth and effective.
Took stain well. Tacked up well. Wrapped around the edging where I needed it... not sure why there is a rating category for adhesion though, because that paper backing on the back side does not peel off... was that supposed to be a glue or something I'm unaware of? Oh it only works with heat by ironing? I didn't try that... I've still got most of it left. I'll keep it in mind.

Great upgrade.
This material works great, I was skeptical about how strong the adhesive was but once it goes on it’s not coming off. It’s thickness sands, stains and seals very well. Easy to cut and apply. I built a floating tv cabinet using low cost materials and this veneer made it appear way more expensive than it was to build.

Good quality wood veneer
This stuff is great. Used it to renew the cabinetry in a campervan conversion. It's so thick that it hides any blemishes (like raised screwholes, etc.) in the surface it's adhered to. It took "dark walnut" colored Danish oil beautifully, and was finished with a coat of beeswax. I started with one roll and ended up ordering many more. My only grip is that the adhesive doesn't extend all the way down to the cut edge (which is exactly where it's needed the most). There is a centimeter or two strip along the edge without adhesive.

Perfect veneer, couldn't be anything better to work with.
This is such a great looking, beautiful veneer. Easy to use, I put it on a vintage speaker pair (AR4xz) and left the original vinyl covering on. The adhesion is superb and the look is fantastic. I used a clear acrylic to preserve the natural (light) color of the walnut rather than darken it with typical varnishes or other applications; the results are superb.

Adhesive failed in multiple spots
Ruined a vintage china cabinet that I was restoring. I properly prepped and cleaned all surfaces and used a j roller to press the veneer on. I relaxed the veneer ahead of time and acclimated the furniture and veneer in the same space for 2 days before installation. I’m so mad about the time I’m going to have to spend to peel the veneer off and see if any of it is salvageable. I was in the fence about using adhesive backed and I should have gone with a separate glue down veneer. I’ve lost days worth of time due to this mistake of a purchase.

Pressure points ruined what was a good quality veneer - disappointing
Easy to work with and packaged well, but the pressure marks ruined the finished look of my project. I’ve invested too much time and money into it at this point to start over. After sanding for days, carefully avoiding burn-through on the veneer, the wood looked significantly lighter—until I applied the finish, which made the defects “pop,” and not in a good way. My project is a very expensive antique, so I have no choice but to live with it, but I wanted to make others aware. Unfortunately, I only just found the other reviews from people experiencing the same issue.

Worked great!
Beautiful veneer, put a new top on an antique piece.
