Old doorknob wore out and wouldn't stay shut. After fighting with it for months I finally replaced it. Just in time for winter

Installed easily. Rekeying was very simple. Was able to rekey to a brinks branded key set that matched the rest of the house!

I hate polished brass. That said, sometimes it's easier to match existing decor than to replace everything. With that in mind, I purchased 9 Kwikset 94002-868 Tylo Keyed Entry Knob with SmartKey Security in Satin Chrome. At $13 each, that came out to $120. These locks are for small salon suites, so the SmartKey functionality is pretty important (since you can't always get a key back from a previous tenant).Installation only takes a few minutes. Rekeying is super easy. The biggest problem is directly related to the low price. Basically, most of the assembly is re-used for Tylo knobs in other finishes. That means that a cheap vineering plate sits over the base of the knob. The outer knob shell and front finishing ring sit on top of shared internals as well. It's great for cost control, but it makes the whole thing look and feel a little cheap. Finally, the internal side dies not have hidden hardware. Basically, you get what you pay for - you're getting a low price, but with so-so build quality. Conditionally Recommended

No instructions were included but I went on line to see how to install. It’s a good entry door knob. Looks great.

Mounted the Kwikset Tylo Interior Passage Door Knob on my outside door so our kids only use the deadbolt to get in the house. Works perfectly, looks great. The install took 5 minutes.

Very easy to install and to key your own locks.Took me less than 30 minutes to install and re key two locks.

I don't know what's up, but this is the second thing purchased in 6 months that appears to be a return. Knob did not come in a blister pack. Came with no instructions. Just arrived in cardboard box. Screws in an odd package. It's a cheap doorknob for a closet, so I'm not returning it. I am just getting tired of paying new and getting someone's returns. (it is scratched up on one side, so I'll just put that interior side of closet, as there is no locking mechanism)

Necesitaba reemplazar una perilla sin llave que destrozo una pitbull y la verdad es que esta bastante completa, incluso no tuve que rehacer orificios ni nada, el tamaño es universal y funciona a la perfección, solo el pequeño clip o como se le pueda llamar que tiene para abrirla si se cierra accidentalmente con el seguro, es medio difícil de manejar pero fuera de eso la volvería a comprar sin dudarlo!
