Super bright and not hot!
Wanted to replace my old lightbulbs above the stove partly due to how much heat they put off. Purchased these light bulbs and the difference in how well lit it is now is amazing. I included photos showing the low/high/medium settings. It's hard to tell the difference in the photos, but it is different. I also included photos comparing the 2 different lightbulbs that I replaced them with, notice how the old ones didn't actually light the stove top. I left the new ones on for several minutes then checked to see if they were warm, they barely felt over room temp. 100% satisfied with purchase!

Great for my uplights
I'm using these in uplights. I needed them because regular bulbs could be seen and they shine in your eyes when you see the uplight. With these tiny bulbs, you don't see the light. Only the light the light puts out lol.

Great for curio
These fit perfectly in my curio cabinets and the light brightness was great at first. When they came on at night I felt they were too bright for my narrow hall space. Unfortunately I sent them back to exchange for a lower lumen.

Good buy.
Nice to find these LED replacements. Put them in the vent hood over our cooktop. The vent hood has a dimmer setting that would drop a halogen to about 50%, but these lamps basically work at off/90%/100%.

These are the bulbs you're looking for.
LED on the left, tungsten on the right, the LED lights spreads better just about as bright. I was warned to stay away from the type of bulbs that have several tiny LEDs in it and that they're weak and the spread is too wide. When I hold my hand under the tungsten bulb you can really feel the heat and nothing comes out of these LEDs, it's pretty amazing. These are the warm white bulbs and the color is very similar to my tungsten bulbs. Now let's see how long they last.Update: Oven hood lights often have a high and low setting, these bulbs flicker quiet a lot at the "low" setting so full bright is all you get, not a deal breaker for me but unusable at half brightness.

These lights are a substantial improvement over the incandescent lights that came with the range hood.
